To be officially ordained by the Christian Leaders Alliance, you must complete the wedding officiant training, which involves approximately 10 hours of study, and gain approval from your local community through a background check endorsement. This validation ensures that your community recognizes and supports your ministerial work.
Managing Your Ordination Status: Upon completing your training and receiving approval, your ordination details are stored by the Christian Leaders Alliance in Spring Lake, Michigan. This centralized system simplifies the tracking of your documents and includes you in the Christian Leaders Alliance Directory.

Become Ordained in New York – Testimony from a Christian Leaders Institute training Minister
My name is Donovan Brooks. I was born in South Africa, and raised in a Christian environment characterized by strict authority and religion. After 
graduating, I moved to the U.K to pursue a career in Hospitality Management. I spent over 20 years in England, where I discovered my identity, built a relationship with Christ Jesus, and was baptized into the faith on Easter Sunday in 2013.
The ministry has always called to my heart through service. My degree in hospitality has allowed me to serve on various platforms. I’ve been blessed to work internationally within the hotel industry and various non-profit organizations, sharing the gospel whenever and wherever opportunities presented themselves. Yet, I yearned for formal training to minister more effectively.
2018 I relocated to the U.S. and trained as a crisis counselor and care partner. I live in New York City and work for a non-profit organization in partnership with the NYPD, advocating for crime victims. The Christian Leaders Institute (CLI) came into my life at this stage of my ministry journey, offering quality, free ministry training, and support.
Part-time, I volunteer at my local hospital, advocating for survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault. I also mentor correspondences for a prison ministry. My spiritual dream is to obtain the credentials to serve and minister to people who have experienced life-changing trauma, bringing hope through the gospel. CLI is the ideal platform to fulfill God’s vision for me and help others do the same.
At the time of writing, I have received my Life Coaching Minister and Licensed Christian Wedding Officiant certifications, a divine nudge to further my call to bless and empower others, including new couples inviting Jesus Christ into their lives. Praise God!
Guided by the Holy Spirit, I have chosen to pursue the Minister Ordination for the quality training it provides. CLI is foundational in becoming a minister through the Christian Leaders Alliance, guiding me to local ordination and credible recognition in the Christian Leaders Alliance Directory.
