Through strategic academic partnerships with like-minded institutions, CLI seeks to create a network of resources, knowledge, and expertise that empowers and equips Christian leaders from diverse backgrounds and locations. By joining forces with these partners, CLI aims to extend its impact, ensuring that more individuals have access to high-quality training, preparing them to effectively serve and spread the message of Christ in their own communities
Whether students are interested in using their CLI degree to pursue a Master’s program or desire to transfer their credits to an undergraduate program, there are many exciting opportunities.

Admissions
- With the candidacy accreditation status of CLI through ABHE, students’ records will be accepted as accredited regardless of whether students attended when CLI was or was not accredited.
- Undergraduate applicants will be required to submit transcripts from CLI for admission purposes.
- Graduate applicants can now use their conferred degree from CLI for admissions purposes into a graduate program.
Transfer
- With the candidacy accreditation status of CLI through ABHE, CLI is no longer considered unaccredited and will not be listed as an unaccredited institution approved for transfer.
- Transfer credit can be awarded without the need of an agreement or transfer guide.
- Transfer credit will still need to meet LU’s transfer policies before being awarded (grade, content, credits, degree applicability, etc.)

Christian Chaplains & Coaching
Christian Chaplains & Coaching (CC&C) is CLI's the exclusive approved agency to teach CPE and help students identify appropriate clinical sites to obtain their clinical hours.
CC&C is an Ecclesiastical Ministry set apart for the Christian Church to serve laity as a Chaplain endorsing and ordaining organization. They teach, equip, and ordain qualified candidates for volunteer and professional chaplaincy. They are an approved endorser for the Veterans Administration VA Hospital and Federal Bureau of Prisons. In collaboration with the NAE Chaplains Commission they are an endorser for Military Chaplains. They teach to the common standards of accredited Clinical Pastoral Education in an online environment.
Calvin Theological Seminary
Calvin Seminary is a Reformed seminary that is globally recognized for its theological richness. Students who complete the Bachelor of Divinity program through CLI are eligible to apply for admission to the M.Div, MA, and MTS programs at Calvin Theological Seminary.
City Vision University
CVU is a non-profit Christian university that offers undergrad degrees in non-profit management, counseling, leadership as well as Masters of Business and Orgizational Leadership. City Vision recognizes course credit and degrees from CLI.
Grace Christian University
Grace Christian University exists to Graduate Courageous Ambassadors for Christ Who Make an Eternal Impact Wherever They Go. Grace offers a range of Bachelor's and Master's degrees Online, utilizing an accelerated 5- and 6-week model, with personalized student support guiding students to success toward earning a degree. We provide a strong Biblical and Ministry core, preparing our students for marketplace success within their chosen program. Kairos University
Kairos University allows you to deepen your roots in your local community by working with a mentor team and crafting an educational journey that encourages face-to-face interaction in your community. The cost for tuition is just $300/month.
NationsUniversity
NationsUniversity’s mission is to build authentic faith and train Christian leaders. By focusing on Bible and ministry, students will develop the knowledge and skills needed for service in the Kingdom of God through any of the three graduate programs offered. Due to the demonstrated quality of CLI alumni, NationsUniversity joyfully accepts qualified graduate program applicants who have completed their bachelor’s degree at CLI.
Northpoint Bible College and Seminary
Northpoint Bible College exists to teach and train students for Excellent Pentecostal Ministry in fulfillment of The Great Commission. NPBC accepts CLI graduates into their graduate program after they have passed a Biblical Knowledge test and have successfully presented an academic paper.
Northern Seminary
Northern Seminary is an online and in-person Christian school that offers a range Master's degrees. Northern Seminary will accept into their Master of Divinity degree program Christian Leaders Institute Bachelor of Divinity degree graduates.
Ohio Christian University
OCU is a private Christian College that accepts applications to their Master's programs from CLI Bachelor degree program graduates. Master's program offerings include Leadership, Ministry, Business Administration, and Education. Each of these are 100% online.
Vision International University
Vision International is an American interdenominational Christian Seminary that offers distance education and online academic degree programs designed to prepare people for professional ministry. CLI has a reciprocal agreement with Vision International University. Students and Graduates of CLI can transfer credits to Vision International University and vise versa
Western Theological Seminary
Western is an evangelical and ecumenical community of faith and learning in the Reformed tradition. They will accept into their Master of Divinity degree CLI Bachelor's of Divinity degree graduates. The Western Theological Seminary Admissions Department can help with the application process.

If you are a Christian Leaders Institute student in the Christian Development school, please be aware that in most cases, you must become accepted to the Leadership Excellence school to be eligible for these partnerships. To learn more about the admissions process, click here.
