I am excited about this opportunity at Christian Leaders Institute because I am eager to gain knowledge and understanding of what a life serving Christ is all about with this Christian education opportunity. I was raised in a non-religious home. My parents had no use for God. I grew up in a home with parents who were addicts and they were severely abusive to me, to say the least. It wasn’t until I was in my twenties that I came to know Christ Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Since that time, I have begun my journey of walking with Him. I am journeying to build a strong, personal relationship with Him.
When I was attending one of the first services I ever attended after being saved, the preacher walked up and told me that God wanted him to tell me something. He said that God wanted me to know that all of the hardship I had gone through was not for nothing and that one day I would use those horrible experiences to help others. This was very powerful to me given the fact that I had never met the man before this time and also that he knew nothing about my past experiences. God works in awesome and mysterious ways. I am interested to see how He wants to use my past experiences in my life and my future ministry work.
I found Christian Leaders Institute while searching for free Christian schools online. There was Christian Leaders Institute offering free ministry education and training. The scholarship for Christian Leaders Institute will be a huge blessing to me. I am thankful for this opportunity to learn and grow in my faith and my walk with the Lord.

Kenya Ministry Training Dream
Hello and greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord! My name is Allan Maingi and I am following my Kenya ministry training dream at Christian Leaders Institute. I live in Kahawa West in Nairobi, Kenya. I am the last of nine children. My father was a prison warden but passed away in October 2016. My mother is a civil servant to the Kenyan government. I was born to Christian parents and was brought up to serve the Lord. However, I made my decision to really serve the Lord in my teens, when I was in secondary school. I grew up in the prison staff compound area which gave us a challenge especially in walking with Christ Jesus.
I currently teach Sunday school children, sing in the choir, and I’m a volunteer with two Christian Organizations, Alpha Trust Kenya and Bible League International Kenya. I am currently a member of the staff of Christian Center Network which is working to equip the incarcerated with Biblical knowledge through World Harvest Bible College.
I am pursuing this course with Christian Leaders Institute for my own spiritual benefit and to strengthen my relationship with the Lord. These classes are already helping me with this. I also desire to be an equipped leader in my local church. I want to be a person who builds others up into becoming mature believers in Christ Jesus our Lord.
My prayer is that I will be ready and equipped for whatever the Lord wants me to do and wherever he calls me to go. As I also train to be a secondary school teacher, it is my humble prayer that I will forever walk close to Him and be in His perfect and unconditional will.

United Kingdom Ministry Journey
My name is Nancy Amponsah Adjei and I am receiving Christian education at Christian Leaders Institute on this United Kingdom ministry journey. I live in Mitcham in the United Kingdom. I am married with many children but two biological sons. I was born in the mission house in Ghana, and grew up in a Christian environment, going to church morning and evening every day until I was eighteen years old.
Later, I became a Muslim. I am a giver by nature and any time I have something I share it and I do it with a passion. So I worked hard to convert people to the Muslim faith. Anytime they were doing something, I made sure to organize the women and do something to help. This pleased the leaders in the community, so they wanted me to go to Saudi Arabia for training so that I could understand the religion very well. They took all the details they needed from me to get me a traveling document. It was my tenth year in that religion. A day before my traveling, I told them I was not interested and I left the Islamic faith.
After two years, a friend of mine told me to look for a Christian church to attend. That advice turned my life around. I sat down and prepared a lot of questions for any church that I would go to because I wanted to know more details of anything that I was doing. I just want to know more about Jesus so that I can share. My local church has been supportive of my calling. They allow me to preach morning and evening services and lead the adult Bible studies in the evenings as well as in the house group. They feel that anyone who has a calling should have a chance to practice it.
I am eager to learn more about God at Christian Leaders Institute through my studies here. I hope to grow in knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in my ministry. Thank you for this educational opportunity.
