Evangelism Mission
My name is Yitagesu Mulugeta and I have an evangelism mission. I am from the Northern part of Ethiopia and I was born on October 17, 1983, in a place called Zuti. I once was a religious person but didn’t know anything about the real life that I could have until that historical day when I was born again. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior when I was 15 years old. Ever since that night, I have been hungry to serve the Lord. I was so bold, I would speak about the good news to everybody, even if it was risky to preach the gospel. After a year, some of our church’s choir members asked me to join them and serve the Lord with them, and I was very happy to. Ever since that time I have been in ministry.
I came to America 10 years ago on March 8, 2008. Right now I am ministering in the church through worship and leading the young adult group. I see myself as a missionary and evangelist. For this evangelism mission, vision, and dream, Christian Leaders Institute has been helping me right from the beginning. I learned a lot about communication, leadership qualities, prayer, Bible study, and so much more. I am sure that I will learn more and more while I keep taking the CLI training.
My wife and I have the same evangelism mission and vision for our people where we were born and raised. Most of them are Ethiopian Orthodox and Muslims. The born-again Christian number is not even 2%. So this is our opportunity and method to address those people who live in the dark:
1. Preaching the good news by using one-to-one witnessing and crusades.
(By the way, my wife and I went there in 2016 to hold a big crusade and it was a powerful time).
2. Helping the poor and orphaned children (right now we helping 25 children).
3. Giving different kinds of training for the pastors and leaders about how to spread the gospel with knowledge and wisdom.
4. Building institutions like schools, hospitals, and clinics.
With God’s grace, we will continue this evangelism mission and vision as long as we exist on the earth. Thank you, CLI!

Online College
My name is Diana Walker and I am taking classes at Christian Leaders Institute a free online college. I am a born-again believer in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am a mother of five children and the grandmother of 4 little darlings. I am an entrepreneur and I own a hair salon where I have the pleasure of making people look and feel glamorous while spreading the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. At an early age, I started singing God’s praises in Spirit-filled songs and worship for the Lord. I was saved at the age of 20 when two soul winners for Christ stopped by my apartment and led me to the Lord.
I am currently ministering at Saint Paul Baptist Church under the direction of my Pastor Dexter D. Mims where I am an Associate Minister while also singing in the choir and teaching the adult Christian Education Class. I answered my call to preach in 2011. Led by the Holy Spirit in September of 2014, I moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, and in July of 2016, I was licensed to preach the gospel at my current church.
My ministry dream is to become a Pastor. I am passionate about compelling lost souls to experience the breadth and height of God’s love. This class has helped me in so many ways, it has held me accountable in searching the scriptures and growing in my relationship with God. I have found a new sense of strength and confidence in who I am and who God has called me to be. I love to shout the praises of Jesus and I am so excited to be a part of Christian Leaders Institute. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to attend this free online college. This online course has already been a blessing to me and I have learned a great deal. I have had many challenges since starting this class like being hospitalized for one week, but I have learned to push my way through the many challenges I have been faced with since starting this class.
Obtaining a scholarship with CLI will help me to accomplish my ministry dream of Pastorship. I feel it necessary to pursue this online college course of study in order to be equipped to lead God’s people. 2 Timothy 2:15 says to study to “shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Studying at CLI will help me to do just that. This will allow me to continue the path to becoming a Pastor and carry the great mantel God has called me to carry.
My church and my family and friends have been very supportive in my decision to go to Bible college. My Pastor has been urging me and all of the ministers at my church to go to school to be sharpened and built up for the race ahead of us. I am happy I have made it this far despite the arrows thrown at me by the enemy. I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store as I continue this journey with CLI. Thank you so much.

Pastoral Minister Training
My name is Augustine Spaine and I am receiving free pastoral minister training at Christian Leaders Institute. I am a Sierra Leonean pastor working as a Pastor in Guinea. I became a Pastor in 1994, in Sierra Leone. Driven by a gruesome rebel war, I migrated to neighboring Guinea, a French-speaking nation which is 90% Muslim. Since 1999, when I arrived in Guinea, it was difficult for me not only to continue my God-given assignment but my personal fellowship with the Lord. I am married with three children. During my first two years in Guinea, I found a fellowship of Christians (mostly refugees) from the war-torn neighboring countries, Liberia and Sierra Leone. We continued in fellowship until I was led to start the ‘Jesus Is Alive Ministry’ of which I am currently the lead Pastor.
How I came to the Lord is just amazing. I lost my father at the age of two. My mother was illiterate. I grew up with my paternal uncle, who took care of my schooling. Unfortunately, he died when I was in sixth grade. I was left with his widowed wife who struggled to bring up a lot of children in her care. I was about to take my GCE Ordinary Level when I lost my aunt-in-law. This just devastated me. I could not take my exam that year. I took it the next year as a private student and only passed at a subsidiary level. My life was turned into a shambles. It was a born-again schoolmate that witnessed to me and took me to his church. On that first visit, the pastor of the church preached my life history. With tears, I went to the altar and accepted the Lord Jesus into my life.
I have no formal education or pastoral credentials. I will call myself a “qualified by experience minister.” I realized I needed some pastoral minister training, but couldn’t afford it. With my cell phone, I decided to search online after being counseled by another pastor about the benefits of the internet. The Lord led me to Christian Leaders Institute. After the first five initial courses, it is so amazing how much I have learned especially on how to preserve a good conscience. It is our comportment that determines our effectiveness as leaders. My thanks go once again to CLI and their partners. You are indeed a blessing to me and this generation. May God richly bless you and your families in Jesus name. Amen.
