Ministry Warrior
My name is Kathy Janzen, and I have a dream to be a ministry warrior for the Lord. I live in the Cypress Hills in Alberta, Canada. Christian Leaders Institute has been my dream long before I even knew they existed. I wanted a place where I could be challenged to learn more about Jesus and His Word. I met Jesus when I was about eight years old. He and the Father would come to me at night when I cried. My childhood was not safe, but I felt their presence. It would not be until I was 30 before I heard the salvation message and finally knew who walked with me through my darkest valleys.
I have always had a heart for the broken and mistreated. My childhood dream was to be a psychologist who worked with the most damaged children. Now my heart continues to beat for them, but my vision has changed. God is my Creator, and I want to use the simple gift of acceptance to reach others and show them His love.
God’s Call and Ministry Warrior Training at CLI
About two years ago, I was praying aloud in my room when the words “I want to be in full-time ministry within ten years” came out of my mouth. I know it was from the Lord because it was never a thought until that moment. Now that I have CLI, I am finally making real steps towards this dream He has given me. I do not see myself as a leader, evangelist, pastor, or church planter. I do not even know what the title will be. “Ministry warrior who saves the hurting church” is a little long for a business card. This course on leadership has helped me begin to put words to where I want to go.
Some obstacles that I will need to overcome are due to distance. It is difficult to get reliable internet and we do not have close neighbors. So, the small one-to-one connections are difficult to cultivate. We are looking to move in the next year. Therefore, I pray every day that God will place me somewhere that I can complete what He has laid on my heart. I have always loved public speaking, teaching, and writing. These are my strengths. I want to finish my education here at Christian Leaders Institute and begin to share with authority what God has done for me.

Free Ministry Training Blessing
My name is Kelly, and I am so thankful for this free ministry training blessing at Christian Leaders Institute. I currently live in Limerick, Ireland. This place is where the Lord sent my husband and me into a calling known only unto Him. Originally from Sydney, Australia, I spent around eight years in London in the United Kingdom. Then, I moved back to Australia where I lived in different states and worked in a variety of jobs.
After meeting a wonderful man, he and I married a few months later. At that time, I also discovered the love of my life in Jesus Christ my Savior. So, my husband and I began our journey together in the adventure that is in Christ. First, we moved to Cambodia where we set up Seraiah Cambodia. Then from there, we were sent to Ireland where we now run a training and fellowship group called Seraiah Ministries.
We wanted to learn more about God’s word and how to be a knowledgeable Christian leader, so we searched online. Now, we feel so very blessed to be here and undertaking these courses at the Christian Leaders Institute. It is a privilege to receive this free ministry training blessing offered at Christian Leaders Institute. CLI is a Godsend to us. We are learning many new leadership skills and are growing in our daily walk with God. Thank you, CLI, for this free ministry training blessing!

God Given Ministry Call
My life started as a tiny baby, two months premature, to a mother who was still a child of 15. I began life as Melissa Ann Doolittle. I was born in the state of Pennsylvania in the United States of America in a Quaker town where religion was a ritual. At 14 months old, I was abandoned in an apartment and found three days later. This horrific action led to my adoption. I became Heather Nicole Kaltreider, and I have a God given ministry call on my life.
A childhood of parental divorce, childhood abuse from sexual to physical and wrapped up with emotional torture, led me to a place of suicide. Life was of no value. I was of no value. I wondered, “God, where are you?” The razor blade left scars that remind me today that He bled with me. This spiral of low self-esteem took me on a journey of two abusive marriages and wondering why that tiny baby lived.
One day, a small church presented the opportunity of a door that I choose to walk through. I found Christ in a way I never knew. I would love to say that life became easy and blissful, but that would not be true. While this church shared the love of Christ, it lacked personal discipleship of what this new relationship is. It took a few years of falling down. Then one day, my art was discovered. I learned how painting could be a form of worship. Tears of healing and brokenness began to come out with the brushes and paint. I found my voice with colors on a canvas. I started a business, and that has developed into an opening to minister to women and children.
God Given Ministry Call and Gifts
I am gifted in small group leadership and evangelism. God has used me to form a nonprofit ministry, 4 Christ Thru Christ. This ministry materialized after I started at Christian Leaders Institute. In fact, we filed a nonprofit EIN this week. These courses at CLI are teaching me not only how to be a better leader, but a better person and in a better relationship with my God.
The challenges in my area are the very legalistic and conservative culture. There is not a lot of room for the gifts of the Spirit. People are not growing because churches have bound them with many rules created by those wanting a powerful platform instead of a powerful Kingdom.
This study opportunity at CLI is vital because it allows an abandoned little girl, abused by the system of man, to learn her value as a daughter of the King. It takes my life from being written as a third person view, to me, Heather, a woman of worth. Finishing these courses will allow me to grow and use my gifts from God to take other women from a third party view of themselves to look at their reflection and see the daughter of the King.
