My Spiritual Journey
Hello, my name is Hali Hale. I am from the United States and live in Texas. Married to a wonderful man, we have three lovely children. I wanted to please God at a young age. I went through a lot of troubles in my teenage years. This led me to make very poor decisions and greatly affected my life. Ultimately God showed His magnificence and called my name and I now serve my sovereign God. Seeking knowledge and credentialing, I found the Christian Leaders Institute with its tuition-free ministry courses.
Youth
As a child, I grew up under the care of my grandmother, a devout Catholic, for my early years. I attended Sunday school and learned about Jesus. From a young age, I wanted to do what was pleasing to God. I was unsure what that meant because the church we attended didn’t teach us much on how to live for God. When I was eleven, my Granny (other grandmother) brought me to her church, which was Pentecostal. The Holy Spirit filled me at that time. However, my father and his family were unfamiliar with the Holy Spirit. Therefore, I was no longer allowed to attend church with Granny. Pulled into the world, I struggled with depression and anxiety. I felt unloved and unwanted. I began to make a series of poor decisions. These led me into a very difficult life surrounded by people who only used and abused me.
Young Adult
As a young adult in my 20s, I became familiar with suicide. I lost so many people I loved because of it. This caused me so much pain and heartache. Then, my lovely Granny invited me back to church with her again. I did not go expecting anything, only to appease her; BUT GOD saw me and called my name once again.
Mission
Now God has given me a heart for others. I want to show the world (especially children) that God not only sees them but loves them entirely. He loves with a perfect love that only comes from Him. God calls me to let those who feel unloved and unwanted know that God wants not only them, but their pain, hurt, and fears. He can restore them and make them the person they are to be, full of love, joy, and peace.
