Get Ordained in Nebraska – A Testimony!
Hi, my name is Hayley. I live just south of North Platte, Nebraska, at Lake Maloney. I’m happily married, and my husband and I have an 9-year-old son named Blake. We both grew up in Christian homes, and I plan on raising my son with the same biblical stories that I grew up reading.
When I was 10 or 11, I went to Maranatha Bible camp. During one of the shows, they invited anyone who wanted to talk to a leader about accepting Jesus into their heart to raise their hand. I raised my hand, and my cabin leader took me to a quiet hallway. She told me about God’s love and how He sent His son to die on the cross for our sins. That night, I prayed with her and accepted God into my heart as my savior.
As I got older, I drifted a little away from Jesus. I had many questions and uncertainties about my identity and purpose in life. However, after meeting my husband and finding out that I was pregnant with my son, I decided to rethink the way I was living. I prayed to God to guide me to my purpose and to take care of my family. I wanted to become someone my son could be proud of, so I started praying regularly and giving my worries to God.
I believe that God is calling me to help others in a big way. By becoming a Licensed Life Coach Minister, I can assist people with emotional, spiritual, and even physical struggles in life. I believe that this journey will strengthen my connection with God as I bring others to Christ.
My desire to help others began at a young age, as I took on a motherly role with my younger siblings. When I had my son, I felt it was a sign from God to evaluate my life and make changes. I turned to God once more, asking for guidance and direction. It was then that I discovered Christian Leaders Institute (CLI) while searching for opportunities to improve my life.
Taking the life coach minister classes at CLI is just the start of my plans unfolding. My goal is to pursue a dual master’s degree in Divinity and social work. After completing the master’s programs, I plan to open my own mentor/counseling center, offering bible study, after-school programs, and guidance for the needy and homeless in my community. With the education and guidance from God and CLI, I believe all of this will be possible.
These classes at CLI have taught me to be a well-rounded Christian by involving Christ in every decision I make. They have shown me the importance of recognizing my actions to make an impact on others. I’ve learned to focus on my strengths and trust that God will handle the rest. I am working towards being a fearless follower of Christ.
