My name is Rev. Phillip Luvane Coleman, Sr. I am 49 years young, full of God’s grace, favor, faith and love for HIS people, HIS word and of course HIS Son, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
I came to know the Lord when I was about 13 years old, but I started walking in the light of HIS word after serving in the US Marines after High school, entering service in 1983. I was diagnosed with a fatal medical report that could have very well resulted in my death in 1990. I sought the Lord diligently, committed my life fully to serve HIM, never really asking to be healed. But while I was attending Bible College in Maryland from 1991- 1993, I was introduced to the healing ministry through Kenneth Hagin Ministries and Oral Roberts Ministries. Once I received my healing, I was determined that others will do the same. I got married in 1993 and now have 4 children. However, the marriage failed in 2012 and I was very discouraged, and I wanted nothing more to do with, church or ministry, so I thought. It was also hard to lose a Father and a stepmother and step-father in a span of 5 years from 2008 to 2013, especially 2013 when I lost my step-father, who was my best friend and inspired me after the military to seek the LORD.
I had a plan, I will move away from the East coast to anywhere in the US, although overseas looked attractive too. I will start over. Live the life I have until I die. Simple. That was MY plan. But GOD! I got a nice job in Oklahoma with AT&T, still not attending Church, content with work, ready to settle into my so called new life. BUT GOD had other plans for me. I was unable to get any residency in Oklahoma; I was unable to get my driver’s license in Oklahoma, which were both requirements for employment. “What do I do now? “ I asked. Well, all the while I was in serious talk with a woman that I meet about 2 months prior to relocating to Oklahoma. She lived in Dallas Texas, a place I just did not like because of NFL team rivalries! I said I would never go to Dallas. But GOD! My job required us to go to training for 12 weeks and I was told that training was in Kansas City MO. But GOD! My group would be training in DALLAS! So, we (Tammila and I) got closer together and it was a very happy time for me. We went to church together; I met the family and the children and had a really great time. But I had to go back to work in Oklahoma. But GOD!
So once back in Oklahoma, I did in fact propose to my now wife Tammila. She was not coming to Oklahoma, and I was not going to Dallas, so I thought. We were miserable just seeing each other each weekend and everything seem to just not work right. The conversation came up frequently about our living arrangements, being apart except weekends. So I asked the LORD for a sign, and boy did I get one too. I had no place to stay except motels, an expired now drivers permit and driving to get to work on time in Oklahoma, not speeding but a red car does attract attention. Well I did not want to tell the cops my license was expired so they got suspicious, asked my questions, threaten to lock me up and take my car! I came clean, prayed earnestly that HE get me out of this, I will do whatever HE will have me to do. I kept my car however I got cited for the expired driver’s license. I called my wife Tammy, told her what happened and said I would call back. On my way to work, because of the traffic stop, I would be late again to work, weather related week prior I was late; I decided at that moment “Lord, I can take a hint!” I resigned my position, told my wife I was coming home to Dallas!
Now that I have settled in Dallas, I have my license, my new family, my church family, a career a home and am working in ministry again. But I needed more. And I found what I needed in Christian Leaders Institute! The training is very valuable to me at this moment whereas now that I have returned to ministry, GOD has been really dealing with me about the office of Pastor, which was told years prior in 2001 while attending ORU. And I was also told in 2 churches I worked at in Maryland before leaving area. I was content with the call of an Evangelist myself. BUT GOD!
So now I am happy, blessed, encouraged, enlightened and overjoyed with CLI, my church and my Pastor and Man Of God, wife and children and overall thankful for what HE has done in my life!
Glory to God in The Highest, Peace and Good-Will!

Philippines Ministry Training Online and Available
Philippines Ministry Training of high calibre is not available for most people in this nation. Christian Leaders Institute offers this Philippines Ministry Training free of charge. This story of Benson M. Chaves is inspiring.
I’m Benson M. Chavez from Nasugbu, Batangas, Philippines where Christian beliefs where brought by Spaniards during 1500’s but eventually Evangelical movement was also introduced before the 19th century during the American occupation in the Philippines thru the Methodist / Protestant group.
I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ October of 1992 during a Evangelical Crusade in Manila. But before that, I was born in a Christian family, my Father was a Pastor (deceased), my sibling are also into the ministry. Even thought I grew up most of my life inside the church and all the activities, it doesn’t guarantee me for my salvation. But I knew seed of faith in the Lord was already planted in my heart since my younger years and eventually came to bloom and accepted the Lord Jesus as my personal savior and Lord when I was in my early part of my College days.
I’ve been into Pastoral Ministry for almost 13 years and by God’s grace has planted 1 main church and 2 daughter mission Churches together with my wife and kids. They are my first in-line supporters ever since and thank the Lord for that. They are presently serving in the church I’m handling. I’m happy doing mission and evangelism because that is the calling I got from God and dreaming of many more souls for Christ and more Churches in God’s timing and direction. But I don’t have any Bible School experience, except for numerous trainings and seminars put on by mission organizations. I’ve attended and the teachings in the church since I was a kid.
I can feel in my heart right now that I’m called by the Lord for Rural Evangelism. Other Pastors might be concentrating in Urban Evangelism because that is their calling. It’s nice to move in a way God has called you and happy of what you are doing. I’m handling Nutrition programs in different schools and Baranggays in Batangas for their physical nourishment and many people have already accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior thru this Holistic program.
I’m not supported by my local church in my schooling, I also have a secular job right now and it is indeed a blessing for me to be part of bringing missions to other areas thru that. I’m happy and praying that CLI will help me to learn and educate me thru this Online Bible College. I know my calling as a Pastor and I want to fulfill it to become an Ordained minister in the future needing to accomplished 92 Bible school credit units to have an Ordination examination in our denomination and eventually passed the test. God bless CLI for your heart and calling to train many for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
My name is Frankie Cornelison. I am married with two grown children. My husband and I have moved several times. We have always found a Bible-teaching-preaching church where we could both be active. We now live in a small town called Advance. It is near Winston Salem in North Carolina in the United States.
I was saved when I was eight years old. I was brought up by a mother and grandmother who loved the Lord and guided me to help me grow in Christ. Our Baptist church emphasized missions, and, as a result, I have always been burdened to pray and reach out to those on the mission fields who are leading others to Jesus Christ. Memorizing Scripture in church, doing Bible drills, taking part in the girls’ mission program, and listening to a godly preacher and teachers helped me to grow spiritually.
God led me to be a teacher. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in history; I have taught middle school social studies and language arts for fifteen years. This was very fulfilling since most of these years I was involved in Christian education. I am now retired and seeking God’s guidance for future leadership roles. I have always sought to be a teacher who tells my students about Christ’s gift of eternal life – a forever teacher of eternity.
My wonderful Christian husband has always encouraged me to improve myself by furthering my education; I am truly a lifelong student and learner. My husband has stood by me as I worked in Christian education. We have ministered together in several churches with an audio/video ministry. He and my fellow church members know God has called and is calling me to more leadership responsibilities. I know God has called me to be a teacher and leader. I have felt God’s leading since I was around eleven or twelve years old. I would get the children from the neighborhood together on our porch. I would take my chalkboard and teach them, and they listened! Even though we don’t use chalk much anymore since we have white boards and markers, I still feel like chalk dust is a big part of my past, present, and future.
Our church is small, and we recently celebrated our second year anniversary. We have just bought land, and we are planning to begin constructing a church building soon. Since it is a newly organized congregation, there are many opportunities for me to serve as a leader. I am now the chairman of the Children’s Church program. I am also the director for this year’s Vacation Bible School.
I know there are going to be other opportunities opened to me by God, and I am open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I have visions for beginning a Wednesday night youth program such as Awanas. My heart is still with Christian education, so to establish a Christian school would be fantastic! I am considering various ideas such as beginning an after-school study program where I can have a Bible study session. There are so many children needing spiritual guidance and knowledge. Another of my visions is to establish a literacy and evangelism center to work with those who need help with English as a second language and/or those who can’t read English. I would use Christian literature to teach them English and how to know Christ as their Savior and how to grow spiritually. I am making myself available to God to serve Him wherever and in whatever capacity He can use me.
I have served God in various ministries as a follower. I have followed leaders in Sunday School programs, Vacation Bible School ministries, Awanas programs, Christian camp ministry, and Christian school ministry. I feel God is now calling me to be a leader of others.
I have had experience in working with successful programs and those not as successful. I have seen things which work (especially with children) and things that do not work. I believe with further theological studies and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, I can implement programs at my church and in my community that will successfully reach people for Christ. My desire is to reach them and disciple them in the name of the Lord.
I love reading and studying God’s Word. To be able to have professors who will give me a better understanding and knowledge of the Bible and theological training would be an answer to prayer for me. Having a scholarship from CLI would enable me to continue to study God’s Word while allowing Him to mold me into a useable instrument for Him. That is where I can really use prayer. I want to be that vessel that is so full of God’s love, kindness, and patience, that others would not just see me as their leader, but would see Jesus living in me. Being able to study at home with the computer would be a wonderful opportunity for me to receive training while still serving at my church. I would be able to use things I am learning even as I am serving. It will be an honor to be a leader, leading others to follow our greatest Leader, Jesus Christ. I want to always be that teacher who tells others of Christ’s gift of eternal life – a forever teacher of eternity.
