From Christian To Christian Leader Training
We often find our beliefs in things due to the influences around us. Whatever is influencing others in our life usually tends to cross over to what we will find belief in as well. At some point in our life, we all venture off to see what other things are out there. If you have a friend, co-worker, or significant other, sometimes their belief can peak an interest in ours. But what it all boils down to in the end is Jesus. Time and time again, people who go on a spiritual quest are led to the belief of Jesus Christ being the only true way that is real. Sometimes it’s in a moment where we are doing okay in our life, for others God is the last resort. No matter the when and how. It’s what and who you found.
Now that we have found God, many of us wish to tell the world of the truth and realness behind all this “God” talk. Our new mission in life is to spread the message of the gospel. To say, “He is REAL.” Forgiveness and His love is just as real! We want to see others feel the same joy we have in our Father’s love and the love He has for us. A love He has had for us all along. This is where Christian leader training can help you advance in your own walk with the Lord, but to also help prepare you for your specific calling by God in the ministry field.
After Many Studies, Christian Leader Training Prospers Over All Others
My name is Benardo Daniel Caballero. I was born in Colon, Matanzas, Cuba in 1968. Like every Caribbean in those years, I visited the Catholic Church a few times in my childhood. My grandparents from my mother’s side taught us to respect and believe in God since we were little. As soon as I grew older, I stopped visiting church. I studied the philosophy of Marxism and Leninism in high school, together with the idea that we come from evolved apes. My life was deeply influenced by the spiritism and the curanderismo of the African religions, which were very popular in Cuba in those times. After high school I studied Zootecnia (a veterinarian field) on Habana. After graduating I was forced to go to the army, were any religion was prohibited. I served for three and a half years and came back to school. I studied music education at the Superior Pedagogical Institute in Habana.
The influence of the African religion and the communist philosophy made me a little skeptical about what to believe. I escaped the country on the exodus of 1994 of a raft. By the grace of God, I survived and I was sent to Guantanamo base to an emigrant camp. I lived there for almost a year. There I was introduced to a group of Christians, where I learned more about God. However I don’t remember that anyone ever asked me if I had accepted Jesus as my Savior. I never did. When I arrived to Miami, Florida, I was consumed by the American dream and never went back to church on a regular bases. The few times I did, no one showed me the necessity of being saved or the way of doing it. From Miami, Florida I moved to Louisville, Kentucky and from there to Chicago, Illinois where I became obsessive with being successful economically. In Chicago I meet my wife and was married. I never stopped working toward my goals. I tried many jobs and businesses. After long years of hard work and many frustrations the financial world I had built collapsed. I was desperate and decided to look for answers on God. He was my last resource since I tried everything else. He gave me the answers I was looking for.
We started visiting a Christian Church and the pastor Samuel Gonzales become my first mentor. I learned a lot from him. There I accepted Jesus as my Savior. Thanks to him I have not lost that first love. I waited for my parents to be baptized after they came from Cuba. My wife and I were baptized with my parents at Louisville, Kentucky in 2007. Since then, my life has been a constant growing in my faith and knowledge of God. My wife and I have three boys and we are raising them Christian. I want to keep learning to be a better tool for my Lord Jesus Christ. I try not to miss any opportunity of sharing with people how to become saved.

The Joys of Being an Evangelist with a Traveling Ministry
” GO INTO THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOSPEL TO ALL CREATION ” -Mark 16:15
Not all people called into ministry feel the call to be behind a pulpit, teaching in a class setting, or being found in suit and tie meetings. Part of the body of Christ belongs to the workers who love to get out there among the people. Where there shall be buildings and life, there shall you find an evangelist. The evangelist knows no bounds of where preaching the gospel comes to a stop. They come with a traveling ministry. The come with the message of Jesus.
Traveling Ministry Found Throughout the South African Nation
I am a truly South African, young man who was born in 1994, by Mziwakhe (father) and the late Zandile Kubheka (mother) who passed away in 2006. Leaving behind my four siblings and my dad, I was raised by my late grandmother from the maternal side, who passed away this year in March.
Ministering the word of God in South Africa is not that easy. Many people know the truth about salvation, some are back sliding and others don’t want to hear about salvation. Recent findings simply states that South Africa is over populated with a number of churches. But the reality is there are so many people who don’t have a relationship with God or are not born again. I understand the significance of kingdom advancement. Soul winning is my fundamental concern. I have been to outreaches in preaching the word of God (e.g: open airs and movement or traveling ministry).
I grew up going to Sunday schools, so I would say I was born in a Christian family. I participated in every single activity there was in the Sunday school as a child. From the years of 11 – 15 years of age, I was engaged in bad stuff. I was doing things that were not pleasing God. I was born again or received salvation at the age of 16 and I started to have a strong relationship with the Lord until the current moment.
I am currently a student, and I serve the most high God by preaching His Word to the people. My ministry is not a church based kind of a ministry. I minister a lot in open – airs and in the market place. But that doesn’t mean I don’t minister at church. I am called for traveling ministry to free the captives from the kingdom of darkness by preaching the gospel of Truth to the nations as the bible records, “…to whom the son sets free, he shall be free indeed….”. The mandate of my ministry is motivated by Mark 16:15 by merely ministering beyond the church boarders and ultimately across the globe. In that way, I would have accomplished the goal and a dream of my ministry.
I am an Evangelist because I have been given a special empowerment by the Holy Spirit to evangelize. Evangelism is about preaching the gospel, the Good News at it’s core. Simply the fact that Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of all mankind and rose again on the third day. Because of this single act of love and mercy on the part of God, we have the opportunity and privilege of coming into a personal relationship with him.
There is another Evangelism and Prophetic Movement called “KPG,” meaning KINGDOM PROPHETIC GENERALS. It’s mandate is soul winning and to equip young people to grow in the Lord. I am one of its distinct ministers, serving under the office of evangelist. The scholarship at CLI would be important to me in order to carry on with my course. I want to grow in the knowledge of knowing God, the things of God, and academically. It would mean a lot to me to be granted an opportunity to carry on with my studies at Christian Leaders Institute.

Getting Through the Denominational Confusion
My name is Shawn Burchett, I live in rural Vanceburg, Kentucky in the United States. I’m blessed to be married to my wife, Sara, of almost 10 years. We have no children but many nieces and nephews who brings us much joy.
I grew up with denominational confusion in my life. My dad’s family went to one denomination and my mom’s to another. Each denomination said that the other was wrong. I knew I needed Christ but I didn’t want to go to hell for choosing the wrong church.
Not long after my wife and I married she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. We began visiting other churches, of one we liked, a little baptist church. There my mind and heart began to open. I began searching. Then one Sunday morning, I gave my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. In my search I found that it wasn’t about denomination, but about the blood of Jesus Christ, which was shed for us.
I then struggled with the call to preach for almost two years before I accepted my calling. It was a continuous battle. Was it pride? Was I good enough? Could I do it? Then finally I knew I had to preach. It was a fire inside. It didn’t matter if the church agreed, (which they did), family agreed, or anyone else I knew. I had to preach the gospel. About a year later I was ordained and licensed to preach. Friends, family and the church agreed and many said they had seen it for a long time.
With so much denomination confusion in my little community, the unbelievers are confused. I hope and dream to cross the denominational barriers to preach the gospel, to reach the unreached, and to share the love of Jesus Christ. Even if I only reach one, it would be worth it.
I am very blessed to come across CLI. I had been praying and searching for a while to find training that was true to God’s Word and that I could afford. I was almost ready to close the door on it because of finances when I found CLI. Now with my pastor who is my mentor, CLI, and God, I can be equipped to reach the lost.
