Brian Govender – South Africa Ordination – I am a South African citizen living in a beautiful world renowned city called “Durban”. South Africa boasts of a culturally rich and diverse ethical atmosphere, and is better known as the “Rainbow Nation”. Peoples of every nation and tongue connect here on our home soil. Religious practices of every kindred is respected and encouraged to flourish within their homes and communities. Christianity like all other religious movements is respected and tolerated equally well here. I hail from a community steeped in idol worship. My small village “Illovo” which is situated in the lower South Coast of Durban has three idol filled temples and two small churches. Everyone is happy and peaceful here. There is rarely or hardly any evangelism done here. On the bigger scale, Christianity is well rooted in South Africa. Both foreign and local ministries (Multi – Denominations) flourish here on South African soil.
The scholarship offered by Christian Leaders Institute has paved the way for me to receive a sound world class biblical education. The presentation of the study and course material by professional teachers is highly commendable. I have experienced much positive life changing moments as I pursued my studies here at CLI. Both the study material and the CLI faculty have challenged me in my thinking and in the way I do things. My mind has been greatly renewed; my understanding of scripture has taken on a new dimension. I would strongly recommend any sincere individual, who is serious about God and the Holy Scriptures, to come and study here at Christian Leaders Institute. I am greatly indebted to CLI. Christian Leaders Institute as made it possible for me to be successfully ordained as a pastor.
The local church congregations within South Africa are extremely particular and sensitive about their pastor’s credentials. This ordination establishes and sets me apart for ministry, for it is publicly recognized within my local context. As an ordained pastor, my desire is to equip the saints of God to be engaged in the great commission “To Make Disciples”, and to be active participating soldiers of the Cross.
I am extremely grateful to my local church and its leadership for awarding me and other future leaders an opportunity to exercise our faith, and preaching and teaching skills within the church. My local church has also been instrumental in developing my evangelizing and outreach skills, and including hospital ministry.
My desire is to see a generation of believers rising up from the mist of confusion and insecurity within the church and taking their rightful place in their own community, and in turn impacting it for Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.
My entire Christian life was filled with the desire to preach the “Living Word of God”. I have studied through the Full Gospel Church of Southern Africa for a year, but due to unforeseen circumstances (Retrenchment), I was forced to discontinue. CLI is nothing short of a miracle, for when one door closed another had opened. Free ministry training at CLI has set the foundation for me to launch from…into the harvest field. Without this great opportunity of free ministry training I would be at a great loss, and would still be yearning for a sound biblical education, and would not have reached this point in my life… “THANK YOU CLI”.
Placed upon my heart is a specific need, and much prayer is required in this regard. The area for me to engage in ministry is open and very challenging. Please pray for smooth transition during the initial scouting and networking period, and for God to guide and direct me throughout this phase. Please pray for God to help establish me in this specific area, as I seek to win souls for Jesus Christ and to set up a church here. Please pray for a core team to be established and blessed to see this plan through. Pray for other local church leaders to come alongside, and to be supportive in this vision and initiative for the Glory of God.

My experience at Christian Leaders Institute has been nothing short of amazing. So many great classes. I’ve learned so much and continue to learn! Having ministry preparedness will help me in my future outreach media ministry and the ministries I’m serving in today by giving me the tools to further serve God in His purpose for my life. This training in ministry preparedness has already immensely helped me prepare for future ministry by giving me the resources and tools I need to be a part of ministry; attitude checks, understanding God and His Word more, and learning the history behind everything.
My name is Jessica Noelle Wright, Although I am known by my middle name, Noelle. I live in the United States of America and grew up knowing about God, but not really having a relationship until later in my life. Since then, God has done a great work. It’s somewhat difficult doing ministry in the USA. A lot of people aren’t as open to the Word, however, that doesn’t stop God from moving!
I feel that I most identify with Evangelist. God is constantly working and improving/helping me improve my gifts and talents for the different ministries I’m serving in and future ministries. Currently, God has helped my photography to the point of being able to be a part of the Church’s Photography Team, and use my photography to raise money for events in the future. My social skills have also been improved and I’ve been volunteering in the Preschool Kids Ministry in my church. It’s an absolute joy to help children learn about God and Jesus.
I wouldn’t say there’s anything really ‘unique’, however, there are a lot of people who have in my area problems with drugs currently or in the past, at least in my community. I’ve known people who have gone through this, and God has brought them out of it and given them a strong testimony to help evangelize to others who are in similar situations. It’s a struggle, but nothing is too hard for God.
My Local Church has supported my ministry calling by allowing me to gain experience in the ministry areas I feel most called to (Media/Photography & Children’s) by giving me the chance to volunteer while being under guidance of more experienced church members.
I’d like to share a little about Photography/Media Ministry; in a world where people are extremely visual, I feel giving them something to connect to (photography/media) is a better chance to help them understand God, while also giving them a chance to really connect and understand the people to better evangelize to them.
Please pray that God reveals in His time all that He wants me to do, and serve in, and to help keep me in check and to be compassionate and loving like Jesus at all times.

The Bible informs us that we should get an understanding, but sometimes there isn’t an opportunity to ask the right questions or in some cases we want to seem as though we know all the answers. The CLI basic course has given me answers. Not answers about what the Word of God says, but answers to who God wants me to be. I was dealing with some doubt about being a Co-Pastor and what the duties entailed. I was questioning God regularly about His decision to call my husband to a Pastoral commitment and I was at a level of sadness because I wasn’t sure of myself or this call that I felt had been forced upon me. Through my studies, I learned to hear the voice of the Lord, change my thought pattern, understand who God really is and the relationship He desires to have with me. He opened my eyes to the many connections I can make and I learned all this through the time I started spending with Him in prayer, opening up His word more, and repeatedly sharing the excitement that was coming off the pages.
Revival Leadership Training Guides Us in How to Lead Others
My name is Tina and I live in the United States. Although I live in the United States, I sometimes feel isolated in the ministry because the sin of mankind has grown exponentially. We are still free to worship, but the restrictions are compounding daily. I will always proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I will never agree with sin. The world in which we live in has tried to satiate us with all that’s wrong before the Lord and it is imposing its views on us while slowly stripping us of our religious freedoms. Whereas I don’t live in a country that is persecuting me yet, there is definitely a second persecution of Christ and all that He stands for. We have to mind that we aren’t imposing our views on others. Yet it’s perfectly fine for all the things that oppose Christ to have a spot in the limelight. We are infringed upon through television shows, commercials, billboards, school curriculum, and radio talk shows that teach our kids that sin is okay. The experiences that are out there are far from God and lacking the moral integrity of Christ. It will be highly important for true believers to truly walk this Christian life upright before God so that we can hear from heaven.
I was born again at the age of twelve. Thanks to an aunt who was persistent with her Christian walk. My experience with God has been a joyous one, but there has been things lacking. I was not sure what it was until I started these basic courses with CLI in revival leadership training. The thing that I realized is that God’s word is deeper than I had ever experienced. As I began this course my thoughts were that I knew a great deal about what the word says and how to operate in the word, as well as the infinite power of God’s word to transform lives. What I hadn’t counted on was that in the very basic principles of God’s word was a transformation for me. As we met every Tuesday night to discuss the Word in a structured course, the Holy Spirit of God illuminated the Word and the words that were on the page began to live in my soul in a deeper aspect.
My husband is a called Pastor and through his divine calling I accepted my calling as well. It was rather difficult at first, but my husband assigned me as the leader of the CLI discussions and my task was to make sure everyone in the room left on one accord. Not only did we enjoy the discussions and were able to totally agree about the word, I went to another spiritual level in God and my life has started this metamorphism into the woman of God that He wants me to be.
We have bible study every Thursday at our church and the study is rich, but in that study I’m a participant in a different manner than my revival leadership traing in CLI. I’m a student on Thursday nights, but on Tuesday’s I have to impart the Word using the CLI curriculum and the Word has to come to life. So I strive harder to gain an understanding which has increased my seeking the Lord. As I have sought diligently after the Lord in these studies, I’m finding Him in ways that I never imagined.
We desire the sincere, effectual, and fervent prayers of the righteous to help us keep the mind of Christ and the focus of God in our ministry.
