My name is Charles Ocheltree, I am 45 years old, married, have three adult boys and live in the U.S.A.. I have been a believer for nine years and have increasingly felt I needed to lead a life of submission and service. In my former life, I bought into the lie that this life is all there is and money and success were the keys to happiness, as a result my marriage and my children suffered. Unfortunately, my children are still paying the consequences. At the age of 35 I felt a real sense of dissatisfaction with my life and began to question everything I thought I believed. I stumbled into a local church one week and was soon convicted of my need for a savior. My eyes were opened to the truth of the Word of God and my life has never been the same since.
Several years after my new birth, I began to teach the teen Sunday school classes and Awana, and made several mission trips to other countries where I hope to revisit soon. Currently, my wife and I are empty nesters and I am struggling, I feel like I have one foot in the world and one in the Kingdom. I have been feeling a strong prodding to make myself more available for service and consequently have made some changes. New church, new job and with an ever-pressing burden for more service/ministry, I have enrolled in CLI. At this point I don’t have a clear vision of what God will call me to, but simply a desire to serve Him wherever is needed. I enjoy teaching ministries and know that the education I will receive from Christian Leaders Institute will better prepare me for that role.
I had been waiting for some time for God to give me direction when this quote, “Noah didn’t wait for his ship to come in, he built one,” made me realize that it’s time to get moving and equip myself to serve the Lord. I also want to know the Lord better through His word. I know we are all gifted to serve, I just want to do my part. I see opportunities to serve my congregation as we prepare to reproduce disciples. We are a young church, with a faithful and passionate pastor, and I am looking to God to grow our influence in our community. We have a heart for missions, both local and international, and will be coordinating with other churches and ministries to witness to the lost and bring comfort to the suffering. I have spoken to my pastor about my entering revival ministry leadership training at Christian Leaders Institute and have his support and encouragement and am looking forward to teaching when these ministries are needed in my church.
In the meantime, I will look for opportunities to respond to needs, as God reveals them to me. I feel an overwhelming desire to serve God because of what He has done for me. I believe it is our primary purpose in this life and I thank God for that truth. I am also thankful to Christian Leaders Institute for answering the call to train the leaders of tomorrow and for faithfully carrying the message of the cross to all the world. Their willingness to provide a much needed, accurate, Biblical education, is greatly appreciated. I look forward to serving our King in His ministry wherever it takes me, I just want to be faithful. Please pray that the Lord continues to lead me and reveals His plan for my life.

Free Ministry Program- No Other Religion
Hello, my name is Joseph Maldonado. I live in the United States, in the Denver/Boulder Colorado area. My goal is to become a Pastor some day and lead my own ministry for Jesus Christ. I grew up in the faith but as a teenager I started trusting in man’s word instead of God’s Word. I put my faith in what so called friends were telling me about God and religion.
I started studying all kinds of worldly religions, basically looking for ways to disprove the bible because I wanted to justify the ungodly lifestyle that I was partaking in. I had a big wake up call when one of my most trusted friends started to discourage the little bit of faith that I still held onto, by trying to convince me that satanism was totally normal and justifiable. This was someone I had trusted and looked for confirmation on many of life matters. I was disappointed but soon realized that God had actually used him to open my eyes to the truth… That I was putting my faith in men instead of trusting in the Lord.
At first I was confused and asked God why he would allow me to grow close to someone who was deceiving me. I realized that it was him using someone to re-affirm his amazing glory and that is what gave me the confirmation I had been searching for my entire life. I now have no doubt of Him, his sacrifice and of His amazing love and message through his Word. I used to have so many doubts but they are all gone now.
My dream is to bring many people to the Lord during these turbulent times that we are in. I want to be used by God to start a revival in this nation and bring as many souls as possible to the Lord. I see myself as an Evangelist. Some of the challenges I’ve noticed are that many Christians in this country are blinded into thinking they are safe from God’s wrath and immune to suffering. There is also much persecution against true Christians that denounce all of the worldly influences due to the so called equality of wicked sinful lifestyles that are condoned in this nation.
My grandmother and father have been huge influences on my faith in Christ. My wife as well in recent years. They are very supportive and share the same essential beliefs in the gospel. Please pray for me to grow strong in the Lord and to cast out all evil spirits that have oppressed me in the past due to my weaknesses that I had fed into for so many years. Please pray that all fleshly and worldly desires are drowned out by God in my spiritual walk with Jesus Christ.
Now that I’ve decided to commit my life to God is when I have faced some of the worst attacks by Satan. I am in need of prayer for me to stay on track with on my journey towards growing to become a servant of the Lord. Young Christian On Fire For Christ Receiving Her Free Online Christian Ministry Training
I currently live in the United States and have been here all of my life. It is an amazing opportunity to be a part of the Christian ministry here in the U.S. There are so many amazing ministries to join with and it is such a blessing to be able to pretty much be open about your faith. Although we are moving towards a time where the Christian faith is under fire and our very foundation is being called “close-minded” and “hateful”, there are many believers still standing for the truth of God’s Word here in the U.S.
I came to know the Lord as a child, maybe around 10 years old. I always attended church with my family but 10 is when I really became aware of who God was and what it meant to be saved. I always believed what I was taught in church about how Jesus died for me, but the Lord began to speak to me as a child and I just knew it was Him. He would help me when I had simple issues by telling me how to solve them, He even told me what I needed to do to see my prayers answered. I remember vividly as a child that my mother was having back pain. While she was asleep the Lord told me to lay my hands on her back and pray for her. In the morning she told everyone about how much better her back felt. What a testimony for a child to experience a miracle right before my eyes! From then on, He continued to speak to me and I had an overwhelming desire to learn of Him and live for Him. My walk continued to grow and even as a young adult I still yearn to learn more and live a life that brings Him glory.
My ministry dream is to reach young adults and women, to teach them about the love of Christ and what it means to live a holy, righteous life before Him. I want to teach children and young adults about purity, Godly relationships, and other life issues that plague the young generation. I want to teach women that Christ’s love is all we need and He longs to be all of the love and acceptance we find ourselves looking for in the wrong places. I have a great desire to see all of God’s people know their worth and identity in Christ and the abundant life God has called us to live. I identify most with being a youth leader and minister to women as that is where my passion lies. Those two groups of people need Jesus more than ever and I want to help them find Him.
I was prompted to pursue christian ministry training as I just began to grow in Christ and became unsatisfied with only going to church and not serving. I am a strong believer that as we learn, we are to teach, a Maya Angelou quote. I know that the Lord hasn’t brought me this far to keep to myself. We are all a part of the great commission to go and preach the gospel to the nations. We have a purpose in whatever area He has placed us in, job, neighborhood, city, etc. and that is to spread Christ. I want to make sure I complete my task in this life and leave this world knowing I have done what the Lord called me to do.
It is also a great honor to be able to do ministry alongside my wonderful mother. She is also a CLI christian ministry training student and pursuing the call on her life to teach the people of God. It is a great experience to have someone so close to me love Jesus with all their heart. It is also great to communicate about Jesus all the time and learn from one another as we delve into biblical studies both individually and together.
You can pray for me in ministry for direction and guidance to the right people and the right time. You can also pray for boldness to continue to step out on faith and trust where the Lord is leading me in my call.
