Some people receive a revival leader calling through a vision or personal communication from God. For others, the revival leader calling comes in the form of a need that they see that isn’t being met.

Charles Tuah received his revival leader calling to provide much-needed support to new converts in the continent of Africa. In his story, he tells how God revealed to him that new Christians in Africa were neglected by their church leaders. Their newfound faith called them to forsake their old way of living, but too often their local Christian leaders failed to support them as they lived their new lives.

Here is Charles Tuah’s revival leader calling story in his own words.

I identified my calling as a child when I assumed leadership roles in school and at church even when grown-ups were around. My spiritual father called me and prayed for me and told my parents to take a proper care of me because I would become a great man of God when I grow up. I did everything as a leader even when playing with my peers in school and at home. I was later adopted by my spiritual father to receive adequate training, and because of my leadership skills, I taught in the churches Sunday school when I turned fifteen years of age.

There I organized drama and poetry competitions and most of the times football matches as a soul winning strategy in my community which increased the number of Sunday school children massively. My mission on earth is to impact in the lives of others who do not know God. As I grew I loved to do the work of God as I walked from house to house to pay a visit to people some of which are not church members preaching to them most especially the lost souls.

One thing I always pay attention to is the newly converted souls. After their conversion, most spiritual leaders do not even pay visits to new converts to help strengthen their faith in God and most new believers think after they have left their family idols, which are a source of livelihood for them, it is your responsibility to cater for their needs financially. I sometimes give such people used clothes from people, and they become happy; and, as a result, I am able to talk to them teaching them the essence of accepting Christ and the teachings of the last days of judgement on this earth.

The power given to all Christians is to take the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to all the nations of the world. The heartbeat of God is that all people will hear his word and be saved. Spreading the gospel to the cities, towns, villages and its environs to share the saving gospel of Jesus to the people and to also turn the hearts of men towards Christ.

The purpose of my ministry is geared towards fulfilling the call of God upon my life and also towards contributing to the vision of reaching out to all the unreached tribes and the lost with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in the nation of Ghana and to finish the task in one generation and also providing quality education to both the adults and children of such people. Taking care of widows, widowers, foster children, street children, prisoners and giving educational scholarships to the poor but needy students are among my major priorities and spreading the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to them.

Christian Leaders Institute has given me the required training needed to stand on my feet as a Pastor through the scholarships given to people from all parts of the world in spite of one’s background, race, or creed and it has really given hope to the hopeless especially people like me from the down side of the world. I have really benefited greatly from this course and the impact on my life is a reflection that will transform other people’s life. I give glory to God that I have been part of the Christian Leaders Institute because it has enlightened me, opened my eyes and has given me the courage and faith to get myself grounded in a reproducible walk with God.

I am called as a pastor, a teacher and a missionary in the vineyard of the Lord. My missionary mandate is to the nations of Africa. That is, I am called to shepherd the flock of the Lord and to send his word to the nations of Africa. I came to this conclusion after several dreams and visions of following a flock of sheep. Many times I dream, I see myself as a shepherd following sheep in a grazing land. I one day asked what those dreams meant and I was told that I am called as a pastor. Also, in a prayer meeting concerning God’s call upon our lives I was told by my friends that God has called me as a missionary to the nations of Africa. In a discipleship class one day after I made a presentation, I was told that I have strong teaching anointing.

CLI scholarship has actually helped me a lot because it has given me adequate training to be able to commit myself to help raise mankind in my country. It has really contributed immensely and positively in the way I prepare and preach sermons nowadays and it is my greatest hope to further the course to the highest level to be able to accomplish the target I have set for my ministry and to reach the height God has set for me to positively impact on the lives of many people in my country Ghana, Africa and the world at large and I would like to take this opportunity to request for your support in prayer for my ministries dream of building the potentials of the poor and needy people of my area be realized.

Rwandan Free Ministry Training

Rwandan Free Ministry Training

Rwandan Free Ministry Training – My name is Gustave Ujeneza 38 years old, I am Rwandan. I was born one child in the family and before I was 15 years old I lost my parents. This was the biggest challenge situation in my life, but, on the other hand, was the beginning of my journey with the God that is Father to the fatherless, (psalm 68:5-6)

In 2001 I was invited by a small group of Christians, and I heard the word of God, the preacher said that we all have the spirit of God within us but because of our everyday life’s struggles; we don’t listen to the voice of that spirit. I was touched by the Word, nd I knew that voice was always talking to me but often ignore it. At the end of the service, we had a time of repentance and confessed our sins. This was the beginning of my joy and successful life.
My leaders helped me in a personal walk with God, and as I grew up, they trained me in ministry. The gifts of the Holy Spirit started to minister; the preaching came first, and others followed.

In 2010, I got my lovely wife, and now we have two kids. In 2011, I went to South Africa/Polokwane, attended the Light of The Nations Bible College for a one-year certificate program. In 2012 back in Rwanda serve in Omega Church/Kigali-Rwanda. In 2013, I was an ordained pastor.

In 2014, I and my family migrated to the USA. Currently, we live in Ohio State, and I am a student in Sinclair community college, I and my wife we are serving the Lord in the New Hope African Fellowship and other African Churches here in Dayton/Ohio.

My ministry dream is to see Christians who are genuine form the bottom their hearts not only attending the church and ministering. I think this is one the big challenges that the church is facing worldwide, and I want to be a part of the solution.

CLI scholarship will help me to be grounded, equipped in the Word of God and ministry training. Moreover, I am going to gain more reverence and relevant personal walk with God. These will enable me to start my dream ministry to train local ministry leaders. I found out that many of them have started ministries and had followers, but some of these leaders are not trained and equipped. This problem causes much chaos in ministry.CLI ministry training is the answer; we can attend on line classes that are high standard, quality, flexible and free. I want to bring this Rwandan Free Ministry Training everywhere!

Pray for me that my dream comes true, I want to start the Rwandan Free Ministry Training for local leaders here in Dayton/Ohio and in Africa Rwanda, Burundi, to the neighboring countries and more else the Lord will take me.
GOD bless CLI.

Hi, I’m Cortni LoGalbo (formerly Brown). I live in the USA and although I’m in “The Bible Belt,” I’m constantly astounded by the number of people that are blinded to the reality of what The Lord has done for them. This doesn’t even touch on the number of people that think they are saved simply because they attended church, got baptized, or live primarily morally ethic lifestyles. Although these are all good things, we as a country have become numb to the realization that only a relationship with Christ can free us from the punishment that we deserve. My hope is that The Lord would use me for His glory.

I was actually raised in a Christian home, but I specifically remember one night as a child, alone in my room asking The Lord to be my savior. My family helped me build a strong foundation in The Lord, but after I graduated High School I faced tragic circumstances as well as church hurt that left me feeling wounded and broken. For a time I fell to my “rock bottom” where I was grieving The Holy Spirit and was far from well in my walk with The Lord. However, as promised, He always provided me a way out and FINALLY I picked myself up and took the opportunity to come to a restored and more fulfilling relationship with Him. Since then, He has been faithful to His word and I’ve grown tremendously in my faith and knowledge, but most importantly in a relationship with Him.

Ever since 2nd grade, I’ve felt called to do missions work for The Lord. We were able to meet some Missionaries from Africa at camp and from that point on, I knew Africa had a little place in my heart; but more so, I had a passion to do some form of missions work in the future.

There were very specific things that He spoke to me:
* That I’d Require Some Form of Intricate Bible Lessons
* That I’d Learn the Specific Place I’m Called to After I Was Married
* He’s Called Me to Teach/Make Disciples

From the time I had a restored relationship, I began to see these things falling into place right before my very eyes. They were made so clear that even the people around me would say hands down that God was at work. He spoke to me specific dates of when various things would occur and I’m so grateful that I believed Him on His words, because even some non-believers in my life were able to witness the entire event so much that they couldn’t deny His power in it! God has been amazing to speak to me in a way that I understand and I know that He does the same for everyone; if only we choose to listen.

I currently serve with youth, and I definitely feel called to work with this area. I lead a 5/6th grade ministry and hope to acquire the knowledge and skills to grow as a Youth Leader and eventually as a Missionary (to another state or country). Oddly enough, the group of students that we have within our church were primarily raised in a “Christian home,” but many have grown stale or stagnant and have lost the true understanding of what Christianity even means. We hope to preach to them the full gospel, not just to give them the “feel good” messages, or to show them simply a “fun time.”

Per Christianity Today, studies show that after High School 70% of students leave the church and only (at best) 50% return a decade later. This doesn’t even take into account that the numbers are increasingly growing, so these statistics will only get worse if we don’t take action!

Proverbs 22:6 KJV Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. If these statistics remain, then what are we doing wrong as Parents, Leaders, etc? They obviously were missing the essential piece that holds them together – Christ. This can’t continue. Every Christian is CALLED to be a leader (make disciples) and this means that we must be the example and teach the future generations. This is the calling of all Christians, and as for myself, I know that I can’t and won’t sit idly by and disobey.

For myself, what does this look like? For now I serve with youth and teach “Canvas 56,” our 5/6th grade program. My local church has allowed me to grow as a leader and I am now being given the responsibility of training up other leaders to serve in the program. Eventually, we plan to have a Middle School Ministry that I will work with and from there God will tell me the next step. Also, I also am looking forward to possibly traveling to Africa for a missions trip next year!

As I was recently married, I am blessed to have a husband with similar passions and callings. The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful husband and 2 amazing daughters. I’m always growing by being able to witness their love and devotion to The Lord. It stretches and pulls me in all directions, but that is the beauty of growth. It is all for a purpose that God is preparing me for.

I have actually been combing the internet since 2010 trying to find the right Christian online college to help me accomplish the training that I feel The Lord calling me to do. Thankfully, about a year ago I came across C.L.I. and with the help of the (then) Youth Pastor and a friend (my now husband), I determined that this was that place that God had previously put a desire on my heart for. Several months ago, I finally had the opportunity to fully submerge myself into the program. Recently, my husband (prior to us getting married), was told that he needed to finish his degree since he’d been promoted to serve as Youth Director. Coincidentally, my calling ended up being his as well. It’s amazing how God works things out in ways that we never could have imagined. So here we are, and we’d be otherwise unable to afford this education. We make enough to get by, but are in just the right bracket to be ineligible for most scholarships. This program is truly a dream come true for my family. I look forward to seeing how God will use this education for His glory.

The power of prayer is amazing! God has been so gracious to extend his ear to hear us. Any prayers extended our way for the future of our ministry would be a blessing and for the pressures of ministry. I pray that we continue to give the burdens of life to God and not to hold onto the stresses that come with the field.

1 Corinthians 3:7 NIV So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.
