Youth Leader Mission
My name is Chelsea Hayes, and I live in the United States. My family isn’t in Christ, but they are a priority target of my ministry. I share the love and joy of the Lord with them when I have the opportunity. Currently, I identify most as a Youth Leader. One of my primary ways of serving in my youth leader mission is to help the youth pastor of my church by operating the technology for service. Doing youth ministry here presents unique challenges. Often the most difficult part is getting them to engage outside of their normal comfort zone and step out. Another problem is scheduling conflicts with after-school activities, sports, and students working.
I first came to know the Lord in the same youth group where I now serve. A group of leaders there went the extra mile to reach out and take time to care for and teach me. It truly showed me the love of Christ because it cost them the effort. But they did it anyway, against several circumstances, and I didn’t understand why they would really (not just superficially and socially) care for someone they weren’t obligated to by blood or otherwise. Now my local church is like a great big family to me, I really couldn’t tell you how much of a difference their love and support makes to me. I wouldn’t be here without them, and I know that they’ll answer my questions and encourage me for as long as we’re all here.
This class provided encouragement while requiring dedication. It’s a question of how strongly you’re willing to chase the dream. I hope someday to lead groups of people in Bible studies or at least to organize and participate in the events. I feel a community need for in-depth relationships and want to facilitate that. In order to do something like that and to better lead the youth of my church in my youth leader mission, I want to study and learn what I never had the benefit of receiving from my parents. I often feel like I’m reading the Bible and my class readings at a very shallow level so I am seeking to go deeper in my learning.
I would never be able to afford to take classes if it were not for Christian Leaders Institue. I do not intend to profit from my ministry financially. But I think even if one does not plan to lead, all Christians need to see themselves as missionaries to the world in their daily life. We have access to people and places (like our own home and workplace) that the light the pastor shines on Sunday can’t reach. It’s our job to bring the light to them. Please pray that I hold fast and do not loose dedication. Pray also for my memory recall, so that when God gives me opportunities I can use what I’ve learned to the fullest.

Online Ministry Training
My name is Jonathan Robert Gambrel and I am thankful for Christian Leaders Institute’s online ministry training. I’m from the USA. While we do have many advantages, a big stumbling block is the abundance of misinformation regarding God’s Word. I grew up in a Christian family and went to a Christian School so I have always known the Lord. I fell away from the faith while I was in high school, but by the grace of God, the right people were placed in my path to lead me back and strengthen me in the faith.
My ministry dream is to be available for anything that the Lord God may see fit to lead me into. I currently help out at my local church and handle the live streaming there. So even there, I will benefit from this training. This online ministry training class has helped to focus me and remind me of the things that are truly important. As for what word I identify most closely with, Small Group Leader currently may be most applicable to me, but this could change over time. I wouldn’t say one key experience has led me to this place in my life, it is more a combination of my personality and interest/need to learn. This coupled with my time around other strong Christians in my life has left a lasting impact.
Applying the Bible to my life has changed absolutely everything. The Lord God Almighty has placed me in the job I am in, helped me to find my wife, brought two wonderful kids to us whom we adopted, and the list goes on. Without God, my life would not be what it is today. My local church is very supportive of me pursuing my calling and is willing to help me in any way possible, they are a great blessing to both myself and the rest of the community. My family will benefit as I learn to better guide and train them in the ways of God’s Word and even help me in my endeavors as we are very closely knit. Pray simply that God’s will be done in my life.

Ordained Senior Pastor
My name is Marcus St.Julien and I am called to be an ordained Senior Pastor. I currently reside in Woodbridge, Virginia, which is less than an hour outside of Washington D.C. I’m a 25-year-old Worship Director. I am married to my beautiful wife Patience and we’ve been married for almost three years. We currently have a son and we have a daughter on the way. I’m the product of a family full of pastors, ministers, and teachers. It has been my foundation since birth to be surrounded by the Gospel. I have a degree in Audio Engineering and Music Business which I still use in ministry with Worship. Both my wife and I are currently in full-time ministry. I’ve been in full-time ministry for the last six years and love every second of it.
I’m going to use the training I receive at Christian Leaders Institute to continue to further my walk into ministry. I’m scheduled to become the ordained Senior Pastor of my family church within the next two years and I want to be equipped and prepared on the side of Biblical study and sound doctrine. I’m looking to be equipped with all the necessary tools to be an effective leader in the body of Christ.
This scholarship will help me by making all of the tools available at a minimal to no cost. Being in full-time ministry is a sacrifice which makes it hard to be able to afford many of the for-pay programs. It’s also a great help with scheduling due to having a family and a ministry. It’s awesome to be able to access Chrisitan Leaders Institute at any time and anywhere.
