Outreach Ministry
My name is Naw E. Htoo (Junna). I currently live in Michigan, USA. I grew up in a Christian family. My parents are Christians and I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was 15-years-old. But, I came to really know the Lord seven years ago. Before knowing the Lord, I went to church every Sunday, took communion regularly, gave a tithe to the church I attended, and led praise and worship and so on—like I was in a religion or a tradition. But God is good all the time. He drew me out from religion. He showed me that He had bigger and better plans for my life. Now that I realize there are many differences between head and heart knowledge of God, I have never looked back. I’m so excited to see where He leads me and what He has in store for me in an outreach ministry!
I have an outreach ministry dream to spread the good news, of salvation to the ends of the earth. My outreach ministry dream is to always be completely available to go where and when He decides to send me. I do have a burning heart to be a witness in my family, in my community, in my country and to the ends of the earth. My deacon ordination will help me serve the Lord anywhere on the earth. I know God has a plan for me in this. He is training me for ministry work. Especially, I believe God is going teach me a lot of unbelievable revelation through the classes at Chrisitan Leaders Institute (CLI).
I was very happy when I heard about Chrisitan Leaders Institute from a friend of mine. CLI has given me the opportunity to study and learn in the comfort of my own home. Plus, finding the time to go to school is a challenge to me as I’m also working full-time. So I also cannot attend an on-campus Bible school. CLI is an online Bible college that gives me a great opportunity to have a good quality Bible education for my dream.
I prefer to be an evangelist in outreach ministry because there are so many people who do not know yet Jesus Christ as their Savior. I am sad for them being lost. I do not want them to go to hell. My heart is burning to say that and to share the good news of Jesus Christ with them. My husband has the same ministry dream, so it is a blessing to have his support in this. Also financially, it helps as I have an opportunity to study without cost at CLI. Christian Leaders Institute is immensely important to my ministry dream by encouraging and supporting me to continue on to reach my goal.
Please pray for me to be filled with the Spirit and to receive His power so that I might be a witness for the Lord. And pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will guide and lead in my ministry.
May He give me strength and resilience and a zeal like the disciples to pursue my ministry and to offer everything to the Lord. To God be the glory. Amen.

Ministry Training Scholarship
I was born in 1997 in Masvingo, Zimbabwe. My parents passed away when I was in first grade leaving my two siblings and me. I grew up in Masvingo living with my paternal grandparents. I finished my “Ordinary” level of schooling, and I then started working at the Internet Café in 2014 up to this date. During all these years, my paternal grandparents taught me much about our Lord Jesus Christ, so I grew up in church. I grew up going to the same church with my grandparents up to now. I enjoy singing at church, and I am on the Praise and Worship team. It has been a progressive learning curve though as I didn’t understand many things early on in my walk with God. For example, I didn’t quite grasp the Grace of God until I was at the university (through our university Christian group), before that time I thought my salvation depended on what I did. The Christian group at the university also encouraged me to consider missionary work. Though full-time missionary work has been on my mind, only this year I feel God is convicting me to totally surrender my whole being for Him (dying to myself and letting Him live in me). I also feel the need for more Bible training and Christian Leaders Institute’s ministry training scholarship.
My desire now is to learn more about Jesus Christ and reach out to those who have not heard of Him and not yet received him. I want to teach the gospel here in Zimbabwe so that many people will understand and know that Jesus Christ is the only Son of the living God and He alone is King. I am still young but I can feel that God wants to use me, and I am willing and ready to give up everything for Him. I want to be dead to sin and all the worldly desires and live only for the Kingdom of God and be filled with the Spirit. With the love I have for the word of God, I want to receive further learning and understanding of the Word of God. That is why I am here at Christian Leaders Institute (CLI). It’s now my dream and desire to study and grow strong in my relationship with God. I will be taking these lessons at work, in my spare time, but I believe I will make it. Thank you, CLI.

Youth Leader Mission
My name is Chelsea Hayes, and I live in the United States. My family isn’t in Christ, but they are a priority target of my ministry. I share the love and joy of the Lord with them when I have the opportunity. Currently, I identify most as a Youth Leader. One of my primary ways of serving in my youth leader mission is to help the youth pastor of my church by operating the technology for service. Doing youth ministry here presents unique challenges. Often the most difficult part is getting them to engage outside of their normal comfort zone and step out. Another problem is scheduling conflicts with after-school activities, sports, and students working.
I first came to know the Lord in the same youth group where I now serve. A group of leaders there went the extra mile to reach out and take time to care for and teach me. It truly showed me the love of Christ because it cost them the effort. But they did it anyway, against several circumstances, and I didn’t understand why they would really (not just superficially and socially) care for someone they weren’t obligated to by blood or otherwise. Now my local church is like a great big family to me, I really couldn’t tell you how much of a difference their love and support makes to me. I wouldn’t be here without them, and I know that they’ll answer my questions and encourage me for as long as we’re all here.
This class provided encouragement while requiring dedication. It’s a question of how strongly you’re willing to chase the dream. I hope someday to lead groups of people in Bible studies or at least to organize and participate in the events. I feel a community need for in-depth relationships and want to facilitate that. In order to do something like that and to better lead the youth of my church in my youth leader mission, I want to study and learn what I never had the benefit of receiving from my parents. I often feel like I’m reading the Bible and my class readings at a very shallow level so I am seeking to go deeper in my learning.
I would never be able to afford to take classes if it were not for Christian Leaders Institue. I do not intend to profit from my ministry financially. But I think even if one does not plan to lead, all Christians need to see themselves as missionaries to the world in their daily life. We have access to people and places (like our own home and workplace) that the light the pastor shines on Sunday can’t reach. It’s our job to bring the light to them. Please pray that I hold fast and do not loose dedication. Pray also for my memory recall, so that when God gives me opportunities I can use what I’ve learned to the fullest.
