Reconciliation Ministry Dream
My name is Charles Runyon and I have a reconciliation ministry dream. I live on the east coast of the United States in the Philadelphia region. In this country, it is much easier to be able to do ministry compared to other countries. I am aware of this but also am aware of the many challenges in our country to doing ministry. I am challenged daily by the many distractions and busyness of life. I know that life here, especially on the east coast, can be a constant going. This can very easily become a hindrance or a wall to my daily devotion to God if I allow it to. Despite all of the distractions, there is still a hunger for God. People are broken and desiring more in life but not knowing what is really missing. It can be very rewarding to join God in bringing the gospel into the lives of the broken and lost.
I was raised in the church from a very young age. I have a mother who raised me and my three sisters on her own. I was taught the Word of God from a very young age and committed my life to the Lord at a very young age. As I came to my young teenage years, the church experienced some very unfortunate events. The church was split and a lot of people were left confused with no answers. I do recall several times in this church the calling of God being spoken to me through the gift of prophecy. As the church split, I really did not want to heed this calling or even my walk with the Lord any longer.
I walked away from the truth and began a walk into the world. I got involved a lot with selling and using drugs, alcohol, immorality, and worldly living. These things led me to many dark places and a destructive lifestyle. It is truly by the grace of God that I am even writing this right now. In that lifestyle, I was involved in a marriage that failed. It was at this time in 2007 that my heart was completely broken. I felt it was the end of the road and I took a turn for the worse for a time.
It was at this time that I began to go back to God’s Word because of the foundation that was built in me at a young age. The Word was now coming alive and personal to me! I remember opening the Bible to Psalm 34:18 and reading that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. This spoke to me so personally. I knew that the Lord was close to me and I started to cry out to Him for mercy and help. I can tell you that He was faithful to that cry! It was at the beginning of 2008 that I surrendered my heart to the Lord. I was filled with the Holy Spirit in my apartment when I was alone. In this time, God was showing me many faces of people that I never saw before. From this point on, my heart was burning to see souls redeemed!
God redeemed me and has called me to join Him in His work of reconciliation. My reconciliation ministry dream is to be a part of the reconciliation of drug addicts, alcoholics, prostitutes, drug cartels, etc. I know ministry is not limited to this but my heart burns for people who have allowed sin to destroy their lives as I was almost there and would be if not for the grace of God.
The getting started class at Christian Leaders Institute has really helped me. It has helped me to see that my calling is from God. I have also seen the areas that need to be strengthened in my walk. It has encouraged me to take my devotional life in my home much more serious. These things can be challenging but needed when called to be a Christian leader with a reconciliation ministry dream. I have done some inner-city pastoral work but I truly believe my calling is to teach and evangelize. I also am aware that pastoral ministry can be a part of this calling as well. I am blessed to be a part of a church where my pastor senses the calling of God in my life as well. He has come alongside a few of us to mentor us and meet with us to study and pray regularly. He will also be mentoring me while I do my studies at Christian Leaders Institute.
I am also grateful for an amazing wife who has come alongside me to support and encourage me in my calling. She is and will be my ministry partner wherever God calls us in this reconciliation ministry dream. I am beyond grateful for this. I am desiring to study and obtain an ordination through Christian Leaders Institute. I hope to possibly plant inner-city ministry centers, Christian recovery homes, mentor centers, and more. I want to better learn God’s Word so that I can apply it to my life and then teach and disciple others. I am excited about my studies here at Christian Leaders Institute!!

Dream Ministry Training
My name is Adetayo Adebowale and I am receiving dream ministry training at Christian Leaders Institute. I live currently in Nigeria with my wife Anarhlia who is from Australia. I was the assembly Pastor of Mountain of Fire Church in Johannesburg, South Africa for three years before relocating back to Nigeria to apply for Australian travel documents.
I had always wanted to go to a seminary for proper ministry training, but I lacked the finances. Although I was ordained in my local church after completing their school of ministry, I still wanted to learn from an outside school for more knowledge and certificates. I got married in July of 2017 to my beautiful wife who is an Australian. Her dad is a Bishop and traveled with her a lot before we got married. Through one of their mission trips to South Africa, we got connected, and two years after our friendship began, we got married. After our wedding, it was necessary for us to relocate back to Nigeria to do an Australian Visa which will enable us to start a ministry there.
God directed me to things to do for the calling he has given me and my wife. One night, I was sleeping and had a dream that I was searching Google’s search engine for free ministry training. When I woke up, I went online to search for a free ministry seminary in Australia. Then Christian Leaders Institute showed up. CLI offered free high-quality ministry training! I couldn’t believe it until I read the welcome page. At that point, I knew God was leading me to this school. Since I started, I’m more confident in my walk with the Lord. Sometimes I wonder how I hadn’t known about the school since, for many years, I had a hunger for a degree in theology.
Recently, I started a mentoring program for young pastors and leaders to equip them in their ministerial journey. I believe what I’m learning at CLI will enable me to be more effective with a sound biblical knowledge and doctrine.
My gratitude to the founder, lecturers, and partners of this great school. Thank you for allowing people like me and many around the world to have high-quality online ministry training. The CLI scholarship will do more for me than you expect.

Women Ministry Education
My name is Chasity Allerkamp and I am receiving women ministry education at Christian Leaders Institute. I live in the United States of America in Texas. I was born in 1988. My father was in the military and barely home. When he was home it was not always a good thing. After years of abuse, my mother left and took us kids to Arizona. We lived there for a while but my mom was always chasing the next online boyfriend. We moved back to Texas when I was 16 and things were not much better with just my mom and us kids.
I ended up getting addicted to drugs and having my first son when I was 17 and my second son when I was 18. My mom ended up kicking me out and taking custody of my boys. At that time, the life of drugs led me to dance at a gentlemen’s club. I was in that industry for almost 10 years. I was told I would never be able to have kids again. I got clean, quit cold turkey and never looked back. I was in a relationship for 6 years and we decided we were going to try to have a baby. After several miscarriages, I asked God for a chance to be the mom I knew I could be. A few weeks later, I found out I was pregnant. My youngest son is now 3 years old.
When I found out I was pregnant that is when I found God and believed in him. I ended up leaving his father due to abuse. I reunited with a friend I grew up with and we ended up getting married after only 6 months of dating. One of the best decisions I have made. In total, we have 6 kids and boy has that been a test. Since our marriage, two of the children have been baptized and two are showing interest. The youngest was baptized as an infant. I have been baptized.
The calling for me to go into ministry happened right after Thanksgiving of 2017. A woman had lost her husband a few months before, and my husband asked me to pray with her and her daughters. I did so without hesitation and then I found myself spreading the good news of the Lord with them. After that, I was shocked by how the words came to me. I have found myself talking to God more and I want to become a better person for God, myself, and my family.
I desire this CLI scholarship for women ministry education because I want to be able to confess to the world that, although I have done sinful things, I can walk with the Lord and so can you. My ministry goal is to create a safe place for girls like me that are walking in the same shoes I did. I want to help them realize there is more for them than where they are and to do this without judgment. One of my pastors has told me that she supports my decision in following my call and that my dreams are big and achievable. Thank you for your time in reading this and for this opportunity.
