Free Ministry Studies
I am 24 years old and just got engaged to the love of my life. I currently live in New Mexico and I am receiving free ministry studies at Christian Leaders Institute. I am an Emergency Veterinary Tech at VCA. I came to know the Lord when my parents took me to church every Sunday. I was baptized and went through confirmation. I was selected to be a United Methodist Woman, part of the fishermen, the Vacation Bible School Director for three years, help in the nursery, etc.
My dream is to show and tell and teach the Word of God to people. I think this is what I am truly meant to do with my life. I learned so many different things from my Christian Leaders Institute free ministry studies thus far. I have learned how devotions work and what I should do daily. I have also learned how I need to walk with God daily and find strength in Him. I believe that I can do this with His help. I want to pray more and study the Bible more. I am learning new habits in my daily life.
The word Pastor is what I identify more with. What prompted me into ministry is the “Love Comes Softly” book by Janette Oke and watching Christian movies. I desire to be an inspiration, support, and hope for the many people and society who are lost and searching. I have not told my Church family about my call yet. I hope to show them I can do Christian Leaders Institute classes and earn certificates and a degree. I believe they would be very supportive of me.
A scholarship at Christian Leaders Institute is important because I want to develop great study habits as I learn from the great material at a college/university level. Through this opportunity, I have hope for my future in ministry work where ever God leads me.

Ordained Ministry Journey
My name is Tony B. Bennett and I am on an ordained ministry journey. I live in the Boston, Massachusetts area and have been in the area all of my life. Though there are many churches and places of worship here this is a dark place. Biblical practices and expressions are shunned in many of the churches while tolerance toward other religions and faiths are highly regarded and encouraged. The light of the Gospel is needed.
Though I attended church as a child to the age of about 13 years old, my journey did not start until I was about 24 years old. Once I got to the age where I could work, I stopped going to church and eventually stopped participating in any church functions. It was more important for me to help my mom financially and pay my own way at an early age. Though I stopped going to church, my mother remained faithful and daily prayed for my soul and restoration to the Lord. She was not overbearing to me though there were those direct hints here and there. She allowed me to find my own way back by relying on the Holy Spirit. One day, that restoration came about. I felt a heavy conviction laid on my heart in which I fell to my knees in the kitchen and ever since then I have been walking with Christ.
This encounter led me to an intense period of time in prayer and studying of the Word. It was during this time that it became very clear to me that I was transformed to be a teacher of the Word. I was to serve others and help them to recognize their calling and election. I left my job and was expecting my first child, this was a season of refinement and purification.
The calling that has been placed within me is to plant a congregation to serve and build up individuals and families. I hope to mentor those who are called to this great work of snatching souls out of the fire and fostering healthy relationships within the community and homes of believers.
My mentor and teacher as well as my congregation family has recognized my calling and has been encouraging me to answer this call. This is why I am grateful to have found Christian Leaders Institute and it’s wonderful scholarship and ministry training opportunity. I have held Bible studies and support counseling at my local Congregation in addition to with the leadership team.
I am provided the opportunity to bring light to a dark environment on my ordained ministry journey. My Congregation is some distance away from where I live. So this ministry training and ordination will provide the opportunity to plant a local Congregation in my area. It’s critical today for Christ-centered and Bible-believing congregations to be planted.
A scholarship will allow me to do what I’ve been called to do for some time which is to serve as an ordained teacher of the gospel. I’ve not gone to ministry school due to financial setbacks and theology school is way too expensive. I can not take on any more debt, so a scholarship from CLI will meet that blessing of ministry training without the weight of a huge debt and regret. This will provide me the opportunity to start achieving my ordained ministry journey goals.

Sierra Leone Free Ministry Training
According to Wikipedia, Sierra Leone is a West African nation founded in the colonial age by Great Britain as the “Province of Freedom.” Many resettled slaves from London formed a colony in the late 18th century.
In 1961, Sierra Leone became an independent nation. Civil war broke out from 1991-2002. Over 50,000 people were killed. The nation’s infrastructure was seriously degraded. The nation has peace now. This nation is largely Muslim (78 %) but the minority Christian population is free to exercise their faith. In fact, it is said that Sierra Leone is one of the most religious tolerating nations in the world.
Patrick Williams grew up as Christian. He tells his story of how he needed to launch his ministry dream with this Sierra Leone Free Ministry Training offered by Christian Leaders Institute.
Church Planting Dream
My name is Patrick Williams. I grew up in a church setting in my country, Sierra Leone. My parents were churchgoers and took me to church regularly in my early years. In my teens, I had the opportunity to attend other Christian programs organized by Youth For Christ. It was in these meetings I was introduced to Christ, as my personal Lord and Saviour. I gave my life to Christ at the age of nineteen years. Shortly afterward, I was accepted to the university in October 1988 to read mechanical engineering. I became part of the Christian fellowship there, and I received discipleship and was nurtured in the Lord there. I had the opportunity to attend several Christian conferences, workshops, retreats, and leadership training.
During my university study, I had the privilege to lead the fellowship as president in my final year in the university. I returned home and became part of a Bible-believing church in the neighborhood. This is where I received training and was ordained as a pastor. Several years along the way, the Lord led me to start a fellowship in 2003. Currently, the church has grown and we have two daughter churches in other locations.
I got married in 1995 and we are blessed with two sons. They are currently at the university. My wife and sons are supportive of my ministry work.
At this time, I pastor the headquarter church, I, therefore, felt the need for further training so that I can train and build more pastors for the work of the ministry. I have some ten pastors that serve together with me and the need for formal training has become a real need. This ministry training at Christian Leaders Insitute, therefore, will give me the opportunity to replicate what I have learned to the team of pastors making them enabled for the work of the ministry.
