What A Mighty God We Serve!
Hello, my name is George DeWitt and I live in the United States. I was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 8, 1967, and am 51 years young now. I have answered the Bible education call I felt in recent years.
I grew up in foster homes going from one home to another so I didn’t have much religion when I was young. I was put in the foster system when I was one year old and my sister was two years old. They separated us when we got in there although we still had meetings to see one another. When I was 12, I was able to go back home to my mother. They pretty much could not control me. I grew up to be a young man living the way I wanted to with a bad drinking problem.
I was asked time and time again to come to church, so I finally gave in and went. I sat down in the back of the church. I was not really listening when I was overshadowed by something I never felt or knew before. I remember the preacher preaching about the old rugged cross and how a man named Jesus left His heavenly home to take my place and pay a price He didn’t owe. Because of His blood, we can be washed white as wool. I heard that when He died, his body was put in a grave and then three days later He rose and won the victory. What a mighty God we serve! Anyway, the Holy Spirit started dealing with me, and I gave my heart and life to Jesus.
I have been saved now for 25 years. I started teaching Sunday school, then I was a deacon of the local church, and then God called me to be a Pastor. I have been preaching for 21 years and did some jail ministry as well. I went to Mexico on a mission trip and three times to Jamaica. I have had many opportunities to serve. I have been pastoring for seven years now in the mountains I love in North Carolina.
One day about six years ago, I got cancer in my throat. It was stage 3 and I had radiation and chemo, and I’m still here by the Grace of God. The enemy tried to destroy me, but God is in control!
I have done these few things and I wanted to get more education. I have a desire to study, in fact, I love to study. I have been so blessed in my Bible education call with Christian Leaders Institute. Thank you so much, I love and believe in your ministry.

Ministry Life Training
My name is Viktoriya Gromova, and I am receiving ministry life training at CLI. I currently live in the United States of America in Washington state. I was born in Russia in 1986. My family and I moved to this state at the end of 2008. I am from a Christian family of 9. I was attending the church since I was a little girl. Here in the states, there’s no persecution, so it is easy to do the ministry. It’s not easy to find enough time with the schedules we all have here.
The Lord touched me for the first time during the prayer night when I was 12 years old. I was baptized with the Holy Spirit. Because I have three kids, I feel it’s the right area for me to be in a kids’ ministry. I want our kids’ ministry to be like a loving family where they can trust, learn how to serve the Lord and each other.
This first class showed me a lot of different areas that I didn’t know. How important it’s to have a mentor, how to be a mentor, and how to overcome the temptations while you a leader. I see myself as a youth pastor. Maybe a pastor in the future. The key experience that prompted me to find and study at Christian Leaders Institute is that I want to be an effective and knowledgeable leader.
My church is very supportive of me and my ministry dream. They are pleased I am studying at Christian Leaders Institute to be a pastor. My family is supportive of me too. I love my family roles as wife to my husband and mother to my kids. To be an example of a praying, loving, serving, and supportive mother and wife is crucial to me.

Free Minister Education
My name is Dustin Vargo from the United States of America. I am receiving free minister education at CLI. The church was a regular part of my childhood years, thanks to my faithful grandparents. The good news of Jesus pierced my heart when I was a young man in middle school. God touched my heart while attending a youth meeting on a Wednesday night. I vividly remember hearing the gospel explained for the first time to me and it actually resonated in my soul. I remember being presented with a choice to accept and follow Jesus. With soft music playing in the background, I knelt at the folding chair I had been sitting on, rested my arms on the cold metal, and invited God into my life.
Several years went by, and I had never told anyone of my experience! Because of this, I had no support and no chance of deep spiritual roots. It was in November of 1999 that I heard the gospel loud and clear during a church worship service and rededicated my life to the Lord publicly. Since then, there have been times of nearness to God and times of wandering in the desert. I know that through it all, He has been with me always loving me and always compelling me. All I know now is that I can do nothing but serve Him and answer His call on my life to minister to a lost, hurting, and dark world.
I am thankful that I found Christian Leaders Institute while searching online for free minister education. This opportunity at Christian Leaders Institute will help me to grow in my walk with God on a daily basis. I also want to learn about what it means to serve the Lord through my ministry call.
