Evangelist Calling
My name is Tityana Sagastume, and I have an evangelist calling on my life. I haven’t started a ministry yet. I spread the Gospel to many others via Social Media, one on one conversations or even through Bible Study. That is a ministry in itself. However, I would like to further my calling. I used to live a pretty rough life from my childhood until adulthood. It wasn’t until I became pregnant with my third child, my daughter, that I felt an urgency to call out to God to fix what’s broken. Not long after, I started going to church and hearing God’s word. Slowly but surely, it stuck, and I accepted Jesus Christ into my life! The best thing I have ever done in life.
Since then, I’ve been wanting to share with others my story and help them to understand who Jesus Christ is, what He did for me, and what He can do for them if they allow Him. My dream is to speak with young adults, women, and even our youth about Jesus and to share His story with them. People need to know and hear the truth. I want to be the servant God has equipped me to be and to help others to hear His truth.
The word that I identify with would be an Evangelist. Evangelism revolves around spreading God’s truth to others. Evangelists speak God’s word to other people. An evangelist is there to help people understand the Bible and who Jesus is and to help many come to Christ in faith. I have an evangelist calling for spreading the “Good News” and leading people to Christ with the help of God. It is my calling. I believe that God has prompted me into ministry and although many times, I have tried to shake that feeling, I no longer can do so. I will be obedient and do what I am called to do.
Some unique challenges in my particular area are the people here. Where I live is one of the wealthiest places in the U.S. Many of the people here don’t want to hear about God/Jesus. Many people feel as if they are the reason for their riches. Sadly, as well, some churches don’t necessarily believe in all of the Bible. I left a church where the pastor and some members explained how most of the Bible isn’t true during a Bible Study at the church. They believed that we shouldn’t listen to most of the Bible and how we need to focus our lives on the modern day of the world. I was in complete shock with what I heard, and I felt in my heart that it was time for me to leave that church.
Eventually, my family and I found a church that isn’t too bad, for the lack of better words. It is a little over an hour away. I have my slight issues, but I am praying for God’s guidance with them. We haven’t been at this church for long, so I haven’t been able to speak with the pastor about my vision. I hope and pray that he will be on board. As for my family, they are very supportive. My husband is fantastic and does his very best to encourage me at all times. We converse about the pros and cons when stepping into ministry and even pros and cons about myself. My children love the church, and they love Jesus, so when we speak about Mom possibly stepping into ministry, they think it’s pretty awesome. My aunt (who raised me the majority of my life), to my uncles, to my grandfather, father, and even cousins support my vision and call.
This opportunity at Christian Leaders Institute is significant for my ministry dream. It helps me and others know that what I am doing is legitimate. It shows me that I indeed worked hard to get what I needed to pursue God’s calling. It is a relief that I obeyed God and His calling for my life. Even though I am a bit fearful, I decided to overcome that fear by taking this critical step in life. To those that I will be ministering to, it will show them that I made the strides to receive my certificates, diplomas, or degree to teach them! They will know that I had to have had training and credibility from CLI. I can pursue my evangelist calling and not just envision it!

Ministry Training Courses
Hi, my name is Donald Ormiston and I am taking ministry training courses free at Christian Leaders Institute. I was born in Scotland and emigrated to Australia as a child. I live in Melbourne, Australia and work as a Paramedic. I am married to Julijana. I have four children and am blessed with three grandchildren.
My walk with Christ was more like a yo-yo ride than an upward gradient. I was raised in a good strong Christian family. But my false understanding of tradition had me serving in the military to prove I am a man and so I could see combat. I was constantly fighting in public to prove how tough I was. All of this took me away from Christ. In fact, for many years, I turned my back on Christ until I volunteered as a paramedic in East Timor. While I was working there, I had a feeling of worth and love.
I changed because I felt the love of the Lord. I returned to Australia and faced several challenges including divorce, but I did not falter. Despite the emotional pain, I knew the Lord would not give me challenges that I could not deal with. Over the last ten years, I have felt a calling to the ministry from the Lord. I have tried to ignore it several times, but it keeps returning. So now I know this is the direction of my life. I want to walk every day with Christ faithfully.
When I found Christian Leaders Institute, I knew this was an opportunity from God to follow the call to the ministry. I am thankful that God led me to Christian Leaders Institute for ministry training courses and more credibility as a leader. I am eager to see where God leads me through this training.

As Amber-Leah shares her testimony, we see she is not going to let a disability, life’s traumas and terrible experiences stop her from realizing her ministry call education dream.
Ministry Call Education
My name is Amber-Leah Margaret Timmons, and I am receiving my ministry call education at CLI. I am from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Being a Christian leader in my hometown is fascinating. I’m continually learning as I go. I have encountered many people with unique stories and testimonies of their own.
Childhood for me was complicated. I had three separate lives. I had my home life with my family which was very tragically unhealthy to the point where I needed to escape and take one of my sisters into foster care for a couple of years. Then there was my school life where I felt important, intelligent, and I felt like a born leader. Then there was my church life where I felt like an outcast and invisible to other church members. The exceptions were a select few elders who mentored me along the way and offered words of encouragement and weekly prayer. I completed 18 years of Baptist Sunday school education with enough optimism to light the moon in the night sky. While in the study for all those years, I began what would be a lifelong journey to have a fulfilling relationship with Christ. I considered myself devout by age 17 and was baptized in the Baptist church I spent years studying in.
I came to the Lord when I was only five years old after I had been experiencing the love of Jesus in dreams. He held me in his arms and whispered words of love and compassion to me, so I opened my Bible at bedtime one evening and began praying. “God let your light shine upon me. I ask you now to come into my heart.”
My spiritual dream is to be a Pastor of a church. I love the idea of reaching out to others and bringing them to the Lord. I also want to be a Christian Inspirational Life speaker like Joyce Meyer and have a show like Ron and Anne Mainse of ‘A Better Us.’
I fear and regret to say that I have had obstacles facing my maturity as a Christian. I catch myself often complaining of almost everything, and it has caused my reputation to be somewhat negative or at least that is how I view myself. But behold, the Lord says “rejoice!!” And that I will. I will slowly integrate a change in my attitude to correct myself for the future. I want to be my best self! What has humbled me and led me to realize I need Christ in my life is that I have experienced life’s traumas and encountered many setbacks and failures.
I came to know Jesus as my Lord and Saviour in 2012. I was forcibly confined, and I was terrified. I knelt down onto my knees during that time and sobbed my heart out to God. “Please rescue me, Lord! Give me a way out!” And He did. I became free of the shackles of being confined to a basement in my hometown of Kitchener. Surviving this led me to want to experience God in all his glory and to strengthen our relationship. I felt the desire for a ministry call education.
God became all the more real to me the moment I awoke from a C-Section surgery, healthy, alive, breathing and heart beating two and a half years ago. God gave me the miracle I had been waiting for since I was 18, a child.
I want to study the Christian Leaders Institute ministry training because I FEEL CALLED by the Lord. I hope that I can inspire other women never to give up and be a survivor. I decided on free training because I currently am in debt from a local college. I’m on Ontario Disability Benefits to surviving and am only making less than $200.00 a month as a Private Security Guard. My finances are at their worst right now, but I am desperate for God and learning how to share the word with others.
