Free Bible College Training
Hi! My name is Nuala Bass, and I am receiving free Bible college training at CLI. I’m from Dublin in Ireland. I have been attending Liberty Community Church for 11 years. Being a Christian leader in Ireland can be a challenge at times. When you mention God, people go to “religion” and close their ears. However, God is moving in our country, and He never gives up.
I grew up knowing God from an early age. My mum brought my siblings and me to church every Sunday and to other events in the church. So, it was a lifestyle for me. We moved with my dad and sister to England, where we lived for five years. I lived there from the ages of three to eight years old. At that time, I went to Perry Wise Baptist Church. When we came back to Ireland, we went to Drimnagh Methodist Church. After that, we went to the Church of the Nazarene in Greystones. Finally, we settled in Liberty for 11 years now. I also got baptized on the 7th of February in 2010, along with my husband and oldest daughter.
Some Important Events in My Life
When I was eight, all I wanted was a Bible. I knew that it was essential to understand who God is. When I was back in Ireland, Billy Graham came, and I remember giving my life to Jesus. As a child, I always knew that God would never let me down. I was obedient to him.
My dad was an alcoholic and was violent, so there were some scary times. When he was not drinking, he would be giving the best advice, and you felt so safe. He passed away on 06/11/2018. He knew God, and his favorite saying in his later life was “by the grace of God.” I had a brother who died of suicide on 17/03/10. My family has not been the same since. I know he is with God as God let me know. This time brought my relationship with God to the next level, as this was important heart stuff that I was giving him.
My Spiritual Dream and Free Bible College Training
My spiritual dream is that all my family will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
The obstacles I faced going into maturity was me. I was told by God what he wanted me to do, and I put different things in my way. I wasn’t good enough to be used by God. If I put myself out there, I put myself down and said I shouldn’t be doing this. I didn’t know that Satan was in my ear. So, instead of listening to what God says about me, I was listening to Satan. I have grown in the last few years in myself and my walk with Christ. Now, I feel spiritually ready to study the scriptures and to take it in.
Out of this free Bible college training at Christian Leaders Institute, I want to share with others how to walk in freedom with Jesus Christ and do God’s work. I have four daughters: Niamh (18), Lyndsey (15), Rachel (11), and Lydia-Judith (3). My amazing husband loves and supports me in whatever I do. He is the head of our household with God at the top. I cannot afford Bible college, so the free ministry training at CLI helps me learn the scriptures and how to disciple and lead others to Christ.

Called to Mission Ministry in Liberia
My name is Helena Dunbar, and I am called to mission ministry. I am married to Winston Dunbar, and we have four daughters and a host of acquired children also in Africa. When my father died when I was 14, I experienced the presence of God. I heard, “I am the Lord thy God. Thou shall have no other god but me. For I am a jealous God.” (Exodus 20:2,3,5). That scared the grief out of me but served as a calming, peaceful, and strengthening time throughout my life. Therefore, I always think of Him in times of trial.
My Life Journey
I am a Deaconess in my church, serving communion and participating in various activities.
I must confess that there were trials and tribulations. However, I knew to call on Jesus and wait through the pains. I had an agreement with Him from the hymn that “this too will pass.” It was just a matter of when. He always came through, whether it took days, weeks, months, or years. We smiled or laughed out loud together in the Spirit.
I lived more of my life in the USA than I did in my birth county of Liberia, West Africa. I came to the United States in 1980 right after the Civil War in Liberia, where my uncle was one of the 13th government officials executed on poles. It was a sad time for the whole nation. Every man, woman, or child was affected during the entire civil unrest. I prayed to return to help in some way. I didn’t have money but remembered that “God will supply all your needs according to His riches in heaven.” You have to step out in faith, and it was a remarkable and crying experience to see the manifestation of God.
Called to Mission Ministry and Ministry Education at CLI
My calling is to return to minister to the children in the church and school in Liberia. I want to build a foundation for them to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Great things He has done, more important things He will do in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
I have been praying and searching for about nine years to find a free online school to continue my Christian education. I can only attribute finding CLI to my God as christianleadersinstitute.org popped up. It was love at first sight. I appreciate and thank Rev. Henry Reyenga, the professors, and the staff for being Kingdom Builders with a great passion for Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!

My Ministry Journey
Blessings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. My name is Nestor Agtina, and the following is my ministry journey. Currently, I live in the beautiful city of Sydney, Australia. I am an entrepreneur working in the real estate industry. Recently, I am working as a young pastor in a pioneering ministry. We founded Unto His Mountains Ministries in May of 2019.
I am happily married to my one and only wife, my prayer warrior, and my loving partner in the ministry, Gie. We have an awesome son, Jethro Emmanuel. We picked his name from the Bible, which means: “abundant blessings for God is with us.”
Had a Worldly Dream
I was born in a remote locality in the Philippines. My parents are farmers. I’m the fifth of nine children consisting of three girls and six boys. Growing up was very tough when most of us were studying and with minimal finances. I had to rely on government scholarships to get into college and finished my degree in mathematics.
However, I had a huge dream. So, while I worked with the Philippines government, I worked during the day and entered law school at night. Hard work and perseverance paid off, and I became a Lawyer and also earned my Masters Degree in Public Administration. At that time, I was pretty accomplished and happy with my achievements until I decided to get married. I followed my girlfriend, now my wife, to New Zealand, who was then working there as a Registered Nurse. Little did I know that God planned something better for me than I ever dreamed.
God Was at Work for My Salvation
I was born in a nominal Roman Catholic family. I grew up with little knowledge of the Bible and only attended mass if I needed something, or there was a special occasion. As an ambitious young man, I focused on my career and loved what the world offered. I lived in sin destined to hell. I was into alcohol, pornography, fornication, and so forth! But God didn’t leave me there.
I was 30 when God used a pastor in a countryside church in Whangarei, New Zealand, to confront my moral and spiritual depravity. He didn’t want me to be left behind or to go to hell. It created a controversy in my mind. So I read the Bible for myself. God opened my eyes to understand grace, forgiveness, and salvation. I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into my life and received beach baptism in the middle of winter! God also miraculously healed me of my alcohol addiction. By His grace, I am growing into maturity forsaking sin and into holiness and righteousness.
New Life in Christ
I became involved in the worship team in our local church. Our Senior Pastor back then saw in me that I have a higher calling. I didn’t understand what he meant at that time, so I just brushed it off. My first involvement in the ministry was the worship team. I was a big fan of country music, played guitar, sang, and partied with friends before I became a Christian. God changed my appetite for worldly songs and turned it into heavenly songs!
My Christian walk got deeper and deeper. When we moved to the capital city in New Zealand, we stepped up to lead a Bible study group with 6-7 families for about three years. Then, when we moved to Sydney in 2009, we attended Hillsong Church and became one of the Connect Group leaders.
After five years at Hillsong, God reminded me of my higher calling. We moved to a local church that was starting. We had the privilege to learn and be equipped and trained in the actual ministry. I was formally ordained as an elder of the church.
My Ministry Journey: My Ministry Dream
After four years, the LORD called me to start a new pioneering ministry, Unto His Mountains Ministries. It was birthed by revelations, prayers, and visions from the LORD. There’s a call to come out from a dying, worldly state. There’s a call to come up to the mountains to be intimate and spend time with the LORD! We envision that it will be a life-transforming journey. It is for those who are hungry for God, those who want to experience intimacy with Him, and those who seek habitation and beholding Him.
Living in the most populous city of Australia, which is around 5 million, is a huge challenge in my ministry journey. People are so occupied and so busy running their secular affairs. The recent population survey in 2016 showed 43.8% of people had no religion, and 15.2% did not answer the question on religion. The largest religious group is Roman Catholic, at 15.3%, followed by Anglicans, and the growing Islam religion. Born-again believers are a minority. We face a great harvest in this city, and the laborers are few.
Free Ministry Training at CLI
Coming to the Christian Leaders Institute this November of 2019, I am excited to learn and grow more in the Word of God and be thoroughly equipped for the ministry. The Bible says in 2 Timothy 2:15, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” With exhilarating days ahead, I can’t wait for God’s fantastic plan and blueprint of the ministry that will be revealed to us! All glory and honor to our God Almighty.
