Zambia Bible School

My name is James Sinyinza, and I am studying at the Christian Leaders Institute, an online Zambia Bible School (Learn more about online Bible courses, Click Here). I live in Mufurila in the Copperbelt of Zambia. My wife and I married in 2014. And we have been blessed with two children: a boy and a girl.

My Christian Foundation

I was born and raised in a Christian family. Since my childhood, I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior. When I was a child, I used to attend Sunday service every Sunday morning. It was the best part of my childhood memories.

Because I attended Sunday services every week, I always had a burning desire to know more about God and share the gospel. So, I began reading the Bible when I was young. Then for several years, I searched for a Bible School Scholarship. But, it was not until I found the Christian Leaders Institute that I realized my dream. It is an Online Zambia Bible School. It is my dream come true and my answered prayer.

My Ministry Dream

My plan for ministry is to share and introduce Christ to non-believers while I am studying at CLI. I am an acting pastor at my local church, Christian Community Church, Exodus Branch of Kamuchanga in Mufurila. Also, I am serving the Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart in everything I do.

However, my first goal is to study the Bible deeply and prepare academically for the ministry of the kingdom of God. Therefore, I believe that CLI will be the best Zambia Bible School source. It will help me fulfill my calling for ministry.

Grenada Tuition Free Bible College

My name is Kerrisha Nelson, from the Caribbean country of Grenada. Currently, I am studying at the Christian Leaders Institute, an online Grenada tuition-free Bible School (Learn more about online Bible courses, Click Here). I am a graduate of St. George’s University in True Blue, St. George’s, Grenada. There I earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Also, I earned an Associate Degree in Information Technology at the T.A. Marryshow Community College in Grenada.

I am passionate about the use of technology in education. My testimony is of earning a TESOL/TEFL certification online via the World TESOL Academy in London. I am a lifelong learner, so I have no problem utilizing technology to meet my learning needs. Therefore, earning my Bachelor of Divinity online at CLI’s Leadership Excellence School is accomplishable for me.

Jesus as My Lord and Savior

I was a Roman Catholic until about eleven years ago. Then, one day at Wesley College, they held an evangelical service. At the time, I was not aware they referred to the service like this. During the altar call, I responded to the call! I repented of my sins and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior in my heart.

After the service, one of the women advised those who had received Jesus as their Lord and Savior to attend a good Bible-teaching church. Immediately, I thought of a church in my neighborhood. Yet, I did not go to the church. I did not commit to living as a Christian from that point on. For some reason, in my mind, I thought that when I was in my thirties is when I will serve Jesus fully. However, God had a different plan for me.

Surrendering My Life to Christ

While walking along my neighborhood to return to my home, a friend called me. She related a message to me from another friend who lives abroad. By spending some time with her and her cousin, she invited me to accompany them to a crusade. Naturally, I accepted the invitation, so I attended. On that night, the church we went to was the same church that came into my mind to attend when I first accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

After that occasion, I started regularly attending church services with my friend. One night at one of the services, she has asked me if I am saved. I answered, “Well, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, but I am not baptized.” So, she told me about the baptism class her two cousins were currently a part of. After that, I wanted to be water baptized. From there, my journey began to go deeper in the Lord.

Obstacles Growing into Maturity

I admit that life as a daughter of God is not easy. However, a notable spiritual accomplishment is that I understand what worship means and my place in Christ. Reading Christian books, such as The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren, my understanding of worship has unfolded. Worship to God is through the life I live. The very fact that I am obedient in doing these tasks unto God is, in fact, worship to my Lord!

Another groundbreaking obstacle is that I was shy. I actually accommodated the mentality that it is a good thing. I embraced slogans as a youth, such as Cute & Shy. But that was a lie from the devil to keep me from doing the will of God. One day, I heard from the Lord to do a prayer and fasting time against the spirit of fear. So I followed the instructions and received that breakthrough! I also tested it. For one thing, I cared about feedback from others when I wanted to object to situations. Then, I saw outspokenness in me, which started without worrying about the person’s view of me. This was groundbreaking. Of course, I seek to share my views in humility, and I understand people will speak negatively or positively despite my stance.

As for knowing who I am in Christ, now I know who I am as the song, I know Who I am, by Sinach says. I thank the Holy Spirit for leading me to do the prayer and fasting against the spirit of fear. What a breakthrough! I know who I am! I am bold in the Lord. God’s children are bold!

Spiritual Dream

My spiritual dream is that I hear from the Holy Spirit to depend on Him to guide me and make decisions based on the will of the Father. God became real to me when I was baptized into the Holy Spirit. I asked Him to help me to abide in Him. I know He does that daily.

Finding Christian Leaders Institute: Grenada Tuition Free Bible School

I have been a Christian for more than ten years. I have experienced God in supernatural ways that I would never have imagined in my life. A few years ago, I got the desire to enroll in a Bible college. However, the question was, which one?

Now, in 2021, I did a Google search on Bible training colleges in the Caribbean. Lo and behold, the free Christian Leaders Institute turned up! When I saw the word free, I was skeptical. Yet, I followed the link and saw that it is linked with a Jamaican Christian college website. So I decided to read more, and then I decided to enroll in the Christian Leaders Institute. After enrolling, I included it on my Facebook profile to declare that I am a student at Christian Leaders Institute, an online Grenada Tuition Free Bible School. It is legit! Perhaps others like me are interested.

My Christian Leaders Institute Training is important to me because I get the opportunity to obtain official training from men and women of God who can instill the word of God to me. In addition, I will utilize the training for teaching the Word of God to children, preaching, and teaching the unreached individuals where I am called to do His work. Also, I like being a part of a Bible college that is non-denominational and stands for essential beliefs, including the Trinity, baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Conclusion

I am grateful to God for using CLI to bring complementary training to individuals around the world. I am exceptionally privileged to be a part of this global movement from my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Children and Family Ministry

My name is Veronica Bishop. I am called to a Children and Family Ministry. Free children and family ministry training at the Christian Leaders Institute is a blessing for me (Learn more about online Bible courses, Click Here).

My Early Years

I was born in Glendale, CA, USA, in 1982. Both my parents were Mexican immigrants that moved to the United States in 1979. We were your average middle-class family until my parents divorced when I was 9 years old. After their divorce, my mother worked two jobs to keep our family afloat. This made our family time very minimal. Also as a result of their divorce, I had to grow up quickly. I took charge of many household chores and duties, including caring for my younger brother. Our mother struggled to make ends meet and ended up engaging in illegal activities for income.

In 1994, we moved to Tennessee, in hopes of a fresh start and change in lifestyle. Mother continued to work several jobs and found a new husband. They had my sister, Cindy, in 1996, and I loved her as my own. My mom and her husband worked the third shift. So, I cared for my sister and my brother at night while they were at work. I became very close to my siblings. Our family never attended church on a regular basis. There are actually very few times I remember attending church. However, I always felt a connection with my heavenly Father, not a strong connection, but nonetheless, a connection.

Growing Up Quickly

In 1997, at 15 years old, I ran away from home with my boyfriend who was 20 at the time. He took me with him to Texas. I quickly regretted my decision two months after running away. However, it was too late. I had already become pregnant. As I said earlier, I never really went to church growing up, but I always felt a connection to God. So, I made up my mind that if I decided to be with this man and was having a baby with him, I needed to make my relationship work for the sake of my daughter. So, I ended up staying with him.

We moved back to Tennessee so that I could be closer to my mom. We married and had two more kids together. My mother forgave me, and we became closer than ever. I shared with her all my troubles in my marriage and looked to her for support. My mom became my only and best friend.

Challenges

In 2000, my mom had my sister, Jessica. My mom saw some changes in her breasts after she stopped breastfeeding her. In 2002, she was diagnosed with a very aggressive and rare type of breast cancer, inflammatory breast cancer. She was given two months to live. We were all devastated. For the first time, I saw my mom turn to God for help. She started going to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was constantly praying and reading her Bible. I was right there next to her every step of the way. She fought for two years. In February 2004, she lost her battle against this unforgiving illness. Just like that, I lost my best friend and was now the mother of six kids. Three kids of my own, my two sisters, and my brother.

That same year in April 2004, my husband started to physically abuse me. I believe he did this after my mom passed away because he knew I didn’t have anyone to defend me anymore. I knew I couldn’t stay in that situation with my kids and my siblings. So I moved out with all my kids and started the long process of divorce. It was one of the lowest times in my life, and unfortunately, I turned away from God and turned to alcohol instead.

God Spoke

For the next seven months, I slowly became an alcoholic. However, in November of that year, I cried in my closet one night. I begged God to bring my mother back and take me instead. God spoke to me. I will never forget that night. He said, “Veronica, what are you doing?! You have six kids in the other room that need you and are depending on you! You are stronger than this! Now pick yourself up and take care of all those kids in there that are looking to you for help.” And, I did. I stopped drinking and smoking. Then, a week later I met my husband. He is an amazing man of God. He adopted all of my kids and my siblings as his own. We also had four more kids together as well, three boys are living and one boy passed away in 2006. In all, we are a family of ten. We are so blessed!

In 2017, I took the role of Children’s Director at Lewisburg First Assembly of God Church. Since then, my husband and I have worked together in ministry as Children’s Pastors and are currently at New Life Church in Lewisburg, TN. My road has not been easy. There is so much more to my story but it would take too much time to go through. However, through every situation in my life, God was there. And He continues to guide me and my family as we walk with Him.
