Worship Ministry Leader

Worship Ministry Leader

My name is Rosetta P. Nyenkan and I am grateful to God for Christian Leaders Institute. I live in Springdale Maryland, USA. I am married and blessed with four children. Presently, I am a member of Little White Chapel By the Wayside church in Silver Spring, Maryland, and a music minister. I’ve been in the music ministry since I was a teenager up to now, by the grace of God. It is my desire to serve God and to worship Him in the beauty of holiness as a worship ministry leader.

I came to know the Lord through my grandmother who used to take me to church when I was a child. In my grandmother’s church, I fell in love with the youth choir singing and that prompted me to join the choir. As I grew up, I left my grandmother’s church because there was no Bible Study there. Prior to leaving, my grandmother told me to get baptized when I was 12, which I did.

Then my mother invited me to her church. My mother’s church was very lively, and the youth ministry was active. That got me excited, so I joined the Bethel World Outreach Ministries International. I began to attend Bible Studies and youth activities weekly. At the end of every year, we would go for youth camp. It was at the youth camp I knew the importance of giving your life, so I give my life to Jesus and got baptized a second time.

The classes at CLI enable me to read my Bible and get me more connected to it. The classes have improved my walk/fellowship with God. As the Bible says in Psalm 11:7 “I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgment.” And in 2 Peter 3:18 it says we should grow in grace. As I serve in the music ministry, it is my desire to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. I believe this great opportunity (ministry training at Christian Leaders Institute) will bring fulfillment to my life.

I identify myself mostly with the small group leader, a worship ministry leader, and the praise/worship ministry. Ministering to people in praise and worship had prompted me to pursue the ministry. My local church supports me in that I am afforded the opportunity to make use of my ministry calling. This ministry training for free is so important to me because then I will understand my role and calling more fully. It will also increase my knowledge of God’s word.

May God continue to bless the work of Christian Leaders Institute.
