Get Ordained in West Virginia – A Testimony

My name is Paul Holleron. I live in West Virginia. Throughout my life, I have held Get Ordained in Virginiamany titles: farm hand, delivery man, mechanic, electrician, husband, and father. After being born again, I added Sunday school teacher, board member, mission team member, and volunteer to that list.

I became involved with cross-country ATV and motorcycle racers. I even raced ATVs myself. It was in this environment that I felt my true calling. I shared the good news with everyone I could, praying with the racers at the starting line and throughout the pits. At one race, as I stood on a hill above the starting area, I looked down at about 650 racers lined up to begin. It was then that a realization hit me: “The harvest is ready, but the workers are few.” That moment marked the true beginning of my ministry. Over the years, I have prayed with many and made countless friends. I’ve watched young children grow up and start families of their own. I’ve been privileged to share moments of joy, sadness, and have recited the sinner’s prayer numerous times. Many have called me “preacher,” but I always corrected them. I wasn’t a preacher—just a sinner saved by grace, eager to share that gift.

On several occasions, I was asked to perform services that I believed were reserved for certified clergy. Comments from a fellow racer and friend seemed to confirm a calling I felt inside. My studies to become ordained have equipped me with better tools and a deeper understanding to minister effectively. Ordination provides me with the credentials that support what the Holy Spirit has guided me to do.
