Doing a Wedding in Vermont – Get Ordained in Vermont

My name is Ferdi Steinmann. I am a follower of Christ and an elder at our local community church – Menden Community Church, MA. I am deeply grateful to God for blessing me with a wonderful Proverbs 31 wife, Mari. God has enriched our marriage for over 27 years. I am a humble father of two exceptional boys, Iwan (14 years) and Marcu (10 years).

Recently, I had the honor of officiating the wedding for our friends’ daughter from San Diego. The wedding was in the state of Vermont, where one doesn’t need to be an ordained wedding officiant; a temporary license (valid for 60 days) and a nominal fee suffice.

At this Vermont wedding, our friends from Kentucky approached me with a request to officiate their eldest daughter’s wedding later that month in Kentucky. However, Kentucky mandates that wedding officiants be ordained ministers or pastors.

I felt uncomfortable purchasing online ordination certificates from organizations that did not truly know or resonate with my views on Biblical marriage. After extensive online research, I discovered CLI and was impressed by their offerings. I felt more at ease enrolling in their licensed wedding officiant clergy course.

CLI’s leadership approach aligns with my beliefs. They have a clear understanding of God and built CLI on the bedrock of service, equipping believers to propagate the GOSPEL with confidence and precision.

Upon sharing my CLI experience with friends in Boston, several expressed admiration for my decision and asked if I would consider officiating their daughters’ weddings.

I’m thrilled to have completed the course, empowering me to officiate weddings worldwide with renewed confidence.

My wife, Mari, instilled in our sons the notion that “LOVE” is spelled “S-E-R-V-E.” Our mission as the Steinmann family is to exude Christ’s love, zeal for the GOSPEL, and an unwavering commitment to service. Christ descended to Earth not to be served but to serve. We take immense pride in emulating this spirit of service. This Christian Wedding officiant license is not just a means but an opportunity to serve couples looking to honor God in their union.

I’m eager to explore more courses with CLI to bolster my spiritual journey and better serve my Creator.

I’m particularly interested in CLI’s courses on Bible/Theology and Ministry Studies. Their diverse range of resources, including videos, PDFs, and PPTX files, are incredibly user-friendly.

As husbands, we are called to emulate Christ in leading our families. Christ’s ultimate sacrifice for our reconciliation underscores the epitome of love and leadership.

The beauty of the GOSPEL lies not only in Christ’s redemption but in His perfection, which is imputed to us. We stand before God, sin-free, as His adopted children, endowed with Christ’s righteousness. Christ’s triumph over death and His ongoing intercession on our behalf with the Holy Spirit are constant reminders of His love and grace.

The imminent return of Christ for His church fills me with anticipation and joy.

The profound privilege of being custodians of this magnificent GOSPEL news compels us to share it across every tongue and nation.

Romans 8:34-39 (ESV) beautifully encapsulates this sentiment:

[Scripture Verses]

This profound love of God, exemplified in Romans, inspires me, with the guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT, to share the GOSPEL, including with couples preparing for marriage.

May Christ’s radiance eclipse my own, revealing His majestic glory.
