Get Ordained in New Jersey – A Testimony!

Hello, my name is William Scott Abney. I am from a small town in southeast New Mexico, United States of America. I am fifty-one years old, and I have been married to my loving wife for thirty-one years. We have three grown children, two boys, and one girl, as well as four grandchildren. For the past nineteen years, my wife and I have been involved in ministry, and currently, we attend what I believe is the best church in America. Over the last five years, we have been actively engaged in ministry here.

Our journey started with volunteering in the children’s church, and soon we recognized the need for a ministry focused on middle school-age students. After discussing it with the children’s church pastor and the lead pastor, we were excited to start this new ministry. The growth we’ve experienced has surpassed our wildest dreams. However, it has also been eye-opening to see the challenges these kids and their families are facing.

Although my wife was brought up in the Baptist church, it wasn’t until I was thirty years old that I accepted Jesus as my personal savior. Since then, life has been quite an adventure. I ran a bus ministry for fifteen years, and with God’s guidance, we witnessed incredible growth from three kids to one hundred and fifty kids within a few months. My heart has always been with the kids, and I feel blessed to have led many of them to Jesus. Remarkably, I have also had the opportunity to lead several adults to the Lord simply by visiting the kids on the bus route.

Looking ahead, I am excited about taking the ministry coach class. It will allow me to help and support people while sharing God’s love with those who are hurting. I am eager to see what God has in store for us next on this amazing journey of ministry.
