My name is Christine Harris. I currently live in Midwest City , OK. A suburb of Oklahoma city. I am a mother and a wife first and foremost and a teacher second. I am blessed to live in a country where we are free to practice religion without persecution but sometimes that makes us too laid back as Christians in our own ministry to others. I have always felt a yearning to learn more about the Bible and its teachings and it was in this passion for knowledge that I felt the Lord calling me into ministry. It was like a voice told me ” I gave you this passion to learn, now use it to teach others about me, ” I believe when the Lord calls you pick up and go. “Here I am Lord, send me.” And so it was with this goal in mind that I began my search for knowledge. I prayed everyday for God to show me a way to be able to serve Him in ministry. As a mother of 3 I knew funds would be tight and I would have to have a scholarship to go to ministry school and I knew God would lead me there.
That is when He led me to Christian Leaders Institute. Christian Leaders Institute was a gift from God. Through the in depth ministry training I was ale to study at my own pace, at home with my children, for FREE! God was telling me I had no excuse. I dove in head first to absorb all the knowledge I could and now I find myself have achieved my first goal of Ordination. By being ordained I feel I will be able to better serve my church and community and lead people to the word. I feel that this ordination will be the key that opens the door to being a minister of the word near home and hopefully abroad. My passion is children. I feel like my focus will be working with children and teaching them the word of the Lord and leading them down the path of righteousness. I have always worked with children in my career and by now being ordained I will be able to lead with a knowledge and support that my education will provide. I ask for prayer as I continue my journey of education all the way through the classes offered with Christian leadership institute and that I will be a tool in whatever way the Lord see fit to use me. Adeshola Adeyemo is my name. I was born and brought up in Lagos, Nigeria where I completed my primary and secondary education before leaving for my degree in the eastern part of my country. I am the third child of eleven. Ours was a Muslim family until my father met Jesus through a health challenge and since we were young then we have to follow him to his new found faith and as a child I was just following my parents to church to fulfill all righteousness.
I am married to a lovely wife and God blessed us with a daughter and three sons. I reside in the city of Warri in Delta State, Nigeria with my family. I am a teacher by profession and teach in a Christian school where I am a role model to my students, because I understood that the Christ we proclaim must first of all be seen in us before we can be able to effectively talk about Him to these students. Students learn more by what they see than what they hear. By the help of the Holy Spirit we have been nurturing them in the fear of God, all the glory to the Lord.
By God’s grace I met the Lord personally in 1993 when I was in the college and my lifestyle changed totally. I became so calm, gentle and above all, I began to enjoy the peace of the Lord. It was the beginning of a new life for me and my hunger to know Christ continues to grow. The doctrine of the church where I gave my life focused more on the punishment rather than the blessings of God. And this portrays God differently from my understanding of Him from my Bible which aroused a desire in me for a search for a church where the word of God is preached wholly and truly. This was a bit difficult since I was still living with my parents, but I was divinely directed by the Holy Spirit in 1999 to the assembly where I worship now and when I got there I knew that is where God wanted me to be.
Though I accepted the Lord in the year 1993, I rededicated my life to Him in 2002 and by His grace He has been helping me to walk with Him. I have attended series of Bible Schools organized by my church and learned more about God and my understanding of the word has been increasing day by day. The biblical teaching during services has been of great help in building my faith in God and putting my trust absolutely in Him because I know He will never share His glory with any man.
God has been confirming His word in my life, He has given me great testimonies and I am a living proof of His awesome wonders. He has saved my soul from untimely death, terrible health challenges, and strange attacks from the pit of hell; indeed He has turned me to a wonder. I can never appreciate His wondrous work upon my life enough. The only true God is a good God.

My prayer is that God should en-grace me to keep focus on His purpose for my life and that I should continually bring glory and honor to His mighty name for the rest of my life. God should also release His Holy Spirit afresh on me and make me sensitive to the leading of His Spirit to be able to fulfill His purpose for my existence through continuous obedience to His divine leading.

My name is Ana Chen and I am currently living in Pennsylvania, USA. My family is originally from FuJian, China. We all made our way to America at different times: Dad left China in 1989 (three months after I was born). Mom left in 1993 when I was four years old. And finally my sister and I joined my parents in 1995. In an attempt to help us transition better, my parents enrolled my sister and I into an all Chinese Catholic school where we were taught the basics of Catholicism. The idea of religion never peaked my interest, especially since my parents were Buddhists. Throughout the years many people tried to tell me and my sister about God, who was saved during a trip to Greece. I was apathetic to any faith and considered myself a “spiritual atheist.” Honestly, I didn’t even know what that meant.
My walk with the Lord began three years ago in South Korea where I was studying as an exchange student. Out of curiosity I attended church service at a really well-known church in Kangnam, Seoul. It was during an invitation to prayer that I spoke the words of repentance and received the truth of Jesus. I began to seek out answers to my millions of questions and was looking for the next steps in this walk with God. When I returned home to the US, I immediately joined a church. I was baptized and began to serve on a team in church. Soon I became dissatisfied and yearned for more (though I wasn’t quite sure what that “more” was). My search led me to China, then to Africa where I got baptized in the Holy Spirit and really learned about who God is and how alive He is, and then to California to a school of ministry preparation and discipleship training. It was at this school that the Lord truly began to work in me. He broke me down, redefined me, showed me His nature, and made my already insatiable appetite for Him even more so.
It was during this past summer that God called me to finally come home after years of traveling. And it is here at home that I believe He is wanting me to equip myself for ministry preparation and a life completely surrendered to Him. One of the things that frustrates and pains me to see is the lack of passion and zeal for the Lord in the Church. How can we sing about the God of Wonders who is worthy of all our worship and praise and yet be bored and unexcited? There’s no passion, no fire in the church because we don’t truly know the love of Christ. There lacks a deep revelation of God’s love for the world and for the individual. I believe the Lord is calling me to wake up and encourage the church to be the disciples Jesus intended for us to be. We are called to be the children of God not merely churchgoers!
