MENTORING MINISTRY SUPPORT
My name is Heide Billings and I currently reside in a small town outside of Atlanta, Georgia. I am originally from Long Island, New York and grew up as the youngest girl of seven siblings. I grew up in a home where my mother taught me to love and trust God in all things and church was a must. However, with all of this I attended church for many years and never knew Jesus as my personal Savior. But all of this changed the summer of 1983 when I began to have a peculiar sensation as if there was an internal battle going on inside of me. I felt as if I was being pulled between two forces. It was also at this very time that my small Baptist Church decided to have a summer revival. The revivalist was a young, on fire Evangelist from North Carolina preaching the Word of God with power, signs and wonders.
It was on a Friday night during this revival that I heeded to the altar call. So with tears streaming down my face, my knees shaking, and legs wobbling I made my way to the altar. That night I repented of my sins and asked Jesus to come into my heart and be my Lord. The internal battle was over and Jesus won. I was saved!!!! Thank God for revival and for always causing us to triumph in Christ Jesus. (1Cor15:57)
I am currently a participant of the mentoring ministry of GodStar Miracle Ministry founded by Pastor Angela Chester and grateful for the ministry introducing me to Christian Leaders Institute. I am thankful for the opportunity to receive mentoring, and the education provided by CLI. My ministry dream is to teach the Word of God with power and revelation knowledge from the Holy Ghost through workshops, conferences, retreats and books and in a concise and clear manner to broken and hurting women. My objective is to provide principles from God’s word so that those that hear would understand, apply the word of God and thereby experience the healing, and restoration in every area of their lives because of the finished work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I ask that you pray that the ministry would come into fruition at God’s perfect timing and season and bear much fruit in the lives of women as they are saved, healed, restored and living in victory through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I ask you to pray that I operate in humility, integrity, and the Wisdom and Love of God. Lastly I ask you to pray that I would daily yield myself to the Holy Spirit and obey His instruction and promptings as He leads me into God’s perfect plan and will for my life.

MISSION FIELD FOR MINISTRY WITH EVANGELISM
My name is Harry Jonathan Gene Hersey Jr. and I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio in the United States of America. I was raised in a baptist church (Saint Paul’s Church of God in Christ) with my grandma and found God’s presence there throughout my life. I became older entering my teenage years and was always helping people, giving, and having respect for my elders as well and was well mannered. I always had a sense to experience more in life. So my grandma passed and I never really had a father figure I kinda strayed away into the world to see what it had to offer.
There was ups and downs and encounters with the trials of life. Best friends and bad influences as well but in the outline of my heart God was there. My pastor passed as well and I felt alone so I had no Godly counsel in my life so it wasn’t important to me. I attended job corp. in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1999 and graduated from there in February 2000 when I was 17 but I had a true encounter with the Holy Spirit. There was five of us in a music room having service and they asked me if I wanted to receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior and I did. Minutes later in an uproar of prayer and worship, the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me and I began to speak in tongues (I’m not sure if its a different language of any nationality) but the flood gates were flowing! My eyes were open and it seemed like I was looking out of a brand new pair of eyes! Literally! So when I went home I wasn’t prepared for the persecutions ahead so I fell..but Jesus was still watching over me.
I moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2012 and it was kinda rough at first due to adjustments with moving. But it was home. My wife found God first and I was seeing what the world had to offer me at the time and she split. So after being homeless she called my safe link minute phone and told me she was in church now and if I wanted to work it out with her I must go to church and get my life right. So I went (thinking of personal gain) and what I truly gained was forgiveness of my sins and introduction to the Savior of all mankind Jesus Christ and the master of the universe our Father our LORD God!
I’ve been going steady for a year and 3 months now and it’s a Pentecostal church. So I’m in the mission field of outreaching, Street Preaching, and sharing testimonies. But what the Father has put in my heart is to tell the world that there is hope! And there is freedom and forgiveness in Jesus Christ. And that God wants to have a relationship with us. He created us fearfully and wonderfully! And there is a place of rest and pure joy with God with Jesus in heaven and the only thing that comes between our relationship is sin! The enemy against God and we must be cleansed of it. And Jesus is the only way that can do that and has done that for us. All we have to do is accept him as our Lord and Savior! And I say to all of God’s creation…there is hope in Jesus! God bless!

CHRISTIAN LEADERS BASIC CERTIFICATE FOR CHRISTIAN MINISTRY
My name is Larry Herald. I live in Ohio which is in the United States of America. Currently I experience great freedom to do ministry, although times are changing and the future doesn’t look as free as it once did.
I did not grow up in the church. However, right after I turned 15, some people came to visit us from the large church in town. My father worked with one of the men who went there and he had been witnessing to my father for about 8 years. He finally gave in and agreed to let someone come out and visit thinking that would get him off his back. But that night my mom, dad, brother and I all accepted Christ as our Savior.
I immediately became involved in the ministry. Two years later at a missions conference where Warren Wiersbe was the guest speaker, I went forward and committed my life to full time Christian Ministry. Later that year, I started school at Grand Rapids Baptist College. I wasn’t prepared to go to school with a bunch of missionary kids and preachers’ kids who didn’t have a deep passion for the Lord like I had. I let it get to me and I ended up leaving after a year. While I was there I met my future wife. She, too, was called into ministry work. Over the years we have been involved in all kinds of Christian ministry. From Christian radio to ministry leaders in church to finally planting a church. My vision from the Lord was to reach lost bikers. So we planted a church where bikers can come and hear about the gospel and grow in the Lord. I am currently serving as the senior pastor of Freedom in the Wind Church. I am also the planter and founder of this church along with my wife and another couple.
Although I have been involved in ministry ever since coming to know the Lord in October of 1997, the Lord called me to a new phase of ministry. I was working in Christian radio at the time and I was in Washington D.C. covering the Promise Keepers Million Man Conference. While I was there and interviewing people, the Lord brought several bikers into my path. They were from the Christian Motorcyclists Association and the Sons of God Motorcycle Club. Through the course of the interview God revealed to me that motorcycles were going to be a part of my next ministry calling, although I did not currently ride or own a motorcycle. Over the course of the next year the Lord opened all the doors and we transitioned into motorcycle ministry.
As we got involved in the ministry and people got saved, there weren’t a lot of church options to send folks to. So many churches in America only want people like themselves and these people were different. They had tattoos and beards and long hair and they wore leather coats and chaps. So I began to pray about it and the Lord said, make a church for them and welcome everyone.
At that time, I went and talked to my pastor and he began meeting with me and praying for God’s wisdom. A couple of years later, I met another couple who had done street ministry in California and they were very open to helping us start a church. Once we felt God’s blessing to move forward, my church licensed me and blessed me to move forward. They helped open the doors for us to become a church plant for the American Baptist Churches USA. They also support us with their prayers and about $5,000 a year.
My whole family has been involved in the life of this church. Currently, my wife is the worship leader along with my oldest son who plays guitar and sings. My youngest son also plays bass and sings and really does anything musically that we need. Our daughter also sings and oversees the children’s ministry. Our other son was a part of the music ministry until he moved to Texas to help plant a church there where he is the worship leader.
I have been looking for a way to finish my schooling and to get deeper into God’s word and ministry training. I am not able to relocate and I don’t have a lot of funds to pay for schooling. The church I pastor has about 70 members. I really feel like this could be just the opportunity that I have been looking for and I thank God for directing me to it.
We are really trying to reach the lost bikers in this community and we need some mature Christians to come along side us and help us with discipleship, mentoring etc. In general, we need more people who are willing to do ministry so that we can create a place for people to come and worship the Lord.
