Ghana Music Ministry

Ghana Music Ministry

CLI Student, Isaac Agyemang Badu, wants to bring liberty and raise up leaders through music he has a dream of Ghana Music Ministry that will win souls everywhere.

Read about his Ghana Music Ministry below:

Akwaaba! (Welcome), to West Africa, precisely Ghana where I live, my name is Isaac Agyemang Badu. After my basic education, I pursued Music Education and Theology and Community Development at Vineyard School of Music and Ghana Christian University College respectively.

Currently, in my country, most of the citizenry are Christians, but most rural communities have been abandoned, because missionaries (evangelists) are drawn to the urban folks, leaving the former in abject poverty, ancestral worship, witchcraft, diseases and the like. In addition, seeking for local assistance (financial) and partnership most often does not yield much, because most Christian groups and organizations focus on themselves.

Born into a Christian family, my love for God and the things of God grew steadily, at age 6, I was skillful at playing the instruments and singing, fast forward to age 12 when I confessed publicly Jesus Christ as my Lord and Personal Savior, and over the years I am owning my faith daily, (I bless God for the gift of salvation).

My ministry dream is to spread the gospel and win souls for Christ through music, draw people closer to God through music, raise true worshippers, bring liberty and hope to the oppressed, support the needy and the less privileged in my country and the world at large.

Though I love studying the word of God, however, I knew there was the need to devote much time to study so I was very happy when I came in contact with CLI and the getting started class has made me a very devoted student of the Bible.

I see myself as a music pastor and missionary (evangelist) because I love getting to know people and to meet them at the point of their needs, mentoring and training people in the things of God, propagating the gospel wherever I find myself and always taking steps to reach out to the unreached. It really gives me joy.

After God revealed the concept of true worship and its significance in the church (body of Christ), I realized the need to teach and help Christians understand true worship, this led me to Missions Door and Young Africa as a music missionary and pastor in Liberia, Guinea, Sierra Leone and Senegal and many churches in my home country. Whiles away serving in this capacity, I had the opportunity to enroll for some missionary and ministry courses, about that same time, Mission Praise Music Ministry was birthed to project my dream, and to the glory of God we have two branches; here in Ghana and Liberia.

In my country, some of the unique challenges have to do with the springing up of churches without sound doctrine speedily, the congregation are mostly illiterates and are unable to read the Bible for themselves, as such tend to capitalize on the words and directions of their leaders, thus introducing the unadulterated word (Bible) and sound doctrine to them is somewhat difficult because they would not want to be disloyal to their leaders. Because of the infiltration of these churches, propagation of the Gospel has become more challenging and most people would rather attend such meetings for “quick blessings”. Psalm 119:130 “For the entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple” (NKJV). I have more understanding to mysteries in the Bible that I practice and share with people, and I just can’t get enough of the word! My local church has affectionately accepted my ministry calling, supported me with prayers, counseling and I am the Pastor the music pastor/director to my church and many churches; my family has also been a strong pillar in this vein too.

My scholarship in CLI will afford me the opportunity to increase my knowledge “Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth” 2 Timothy 2:15(AMP).

My heart desire in ministry is always to establish contacts with individuals and organizations with shared interest, Ephesians 4:11 “And His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers.

In conclusion, please bear my ministry up in prayer with 2 Corinthians 9:8, “And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].

God bless you!!!

Webster & Bravo Cannot Define Me,

Hey, guys! I am Sabrina Hayes, a pretty normal (but not so normal) American girl with Ministry dreams and aspirations the size of our beloved Grand Canyon. Here in these United States, we enjoy the freedom of religion, the ability to practice our faith out loud, minister to others without fear of retaliation or political discipline, and we have the right to read the Bible freely and without suffering recourse. My opportunities abound as the wide open plains of the Midwest.

I was born a Christian. I grew up in church, reciting those keynote Easter speeches in my shiny, white shoes, and singing songs of praise with the A/B choir in countless pulpits. It wasn’t until 21, through the traumatic experience of losing my brother to murder, that I walked into an amazing relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ PERSONALLY and one-on-one, and not at the nudging of my zealous Grandparents. He became my Rock, my Source of comfort, and my Best Friend.

My Ministry dream is actually my reality! Sanctuary Girl Women’s Ministry has been birthed and is on her way. Sanctuary Girl is more than a ministry; she’s an actual person. She is the woman who knows who she is. She is the girl who is willing to stand firm in what God defines her to be, in direct defiance of what society, in all its Hollywood and social media glory, compels her to be. She is the girl who accepts that what her faith says might not be popular with what her family and friends have to say; but yet she stands. The Word is her Foundation. Her safe haven. Her security. Her Sanctuary. She is a #sanctuarygirl.

My ordination will afford me the credentials that I need, and the credibility that I need, to minister to women all over the country through the retreat experience. Being able to pour into those who are hurting, who are deficient in the knowledge of what GOD says they are capable of and speaking His Word and promise to them, is an invaluable charge that has been placed on my life and will be supported through my ordination. The pivotal experience that prompted me to pursue ministry was the realization that many women in our culture, young through old, are defining themselves by standards they should not be, such as reality television and social media. THERE IS AN AMAZING NEED for women who KNOW better to hit the paths and redirect these comparisons. We must be a community of women who draw each other back to what God says we are and should be as mothers, daughters, wives, professionals, and the many other roles we carry. I choose to be among those who take up this charge.

I also look forward to helping women begin their marriages rooted and identified in the Word, as an ordained officiant. Who they are as wives is paramount for them to know going into marriage, and as an officiant, I will have the opportunity to minister to them according to what the Word says and debunk what the world says.

My local church has been amazing in support of my endeavors. I have access to women in leadership who have poured into me, been a source of accountability and encouragement, and have even joined forces with me in the work ahead. I could not do true ministry life without them. My family has also been a staunch source of support. With three teenaged daughters, my mission is more important here at home than anywhere else. They get it and they stand squarely behind me at every pass.

The scholarship to CLI was vital for me as I have two daughters in college who require fiduciary support. It would have been cost-prohibitive to bear their burden and my own. The free training at CLI was a godsend and has granted me the opportunity to pursue my dream of a Ministry Degree without assuming additional financial responsibility.

Prayers for Ministry are always coveted and needed. I request prayer for favor over my plans, that God would establish my steps as I commit my plans to Him, I pray that He would place His Hand of blessing before and behind me and that it would rest upon my Head. I pray that I would continually put Him first in my Ministry, seeking Him and His Kingdom first, knowing that in doing so, He would supply all things. I ask for prayer that women all over would be given ears to hear and eyes to see God’s Truth about them and closed to what the world says. Joining me in this prayer is the greatest honor you could provide.

CLI has been an immense blessing in my life. I look forward to making them proud in the Lord through my women’s ministry education and its impact on women nationwide.

International Ministry Dream

International Ministry Dream

Read the testimony of the CLI student who has an international ministry dream. He wants to travel the world raising up more revival leaders.

I am currently living in the United States of America in Cincinnati Ohio, right by the river in a small town called Newport. I live in a small town with several churches all doing great things and doing all they can to reach the ends of the earth to share the gospel.
I found God 3 years ago when I moved away from a shady city north of where I am now. I was surrounded by so-called friends who were using drugs and living a blind and aimless life. I decided it was time to make a major life change and distance myself from the bad crowd as I was tired of being guilty by association. I quickly chose a college degree path, fell in love with the woman I am engaged to now, and set up a new start here in Newport getting grounded in my church where I started to really study the word of God.

My international ministry dream is one that will have many moving parts. I want to be deeply rooted in my local church and build a team to travel the world in the heart of spreading the good news. I am currently managing a blog and youtube channel to share videos that helped me along the way with authors, pastors, etc.

CLI has really helped me dig deeper into the word and figure out how to use it on a daily basis for guidance in my everyday walk, and I have found a passion for writing. I identify with Evangelist, I really believe that God has put an adventures heart in me to travel and a passion for leadership.

When I heard my younger siblings start to ask the bigger questions in life I immediately took the reins and showed them the Bible. I remember the look on their face and the way they received it, it made me feel like I gave them a treasure chest.
Some challenges my geographic area faces is the number of churches that exist, and people may feel like they are all too different and may never choose.

The Bible now serves as my manual to this human vessel. It directs my path and is the lamp of light on my pathway. It gives me hope, it inspires me, and helps me relate to the past soldiers of Christ who tell their tales of faith.
I am assuming new roles in the Church as a men’s bible study leader.

My family had no knowledge of Christ prior to my transformation, and now we are taking steps to help them grow in faith.
This scholarship would inspire me to devote the rest of my life to spreading the word, and changing peoples live the way it changed me from the inside out. A life without God would mean nothing matters, and a life with God means every single thing matters with eternal echoes.

Please pray that I don’t lose hope, and wake up every single morning with the hope of spreading the gospel to as many people as I can with the resources I have.
