Free Online Ministry Education

Free Online Ministry Education

My name is VonTashia Butler, and I am receiving free online ministry education at CLI. I am a resident of Garland, Texas, USA. I am a servant of God, a wife, and mother. My husband and I have been married for four years and have a blended family. We are parents to two sons and five daughters. Our children consist of a 17-year-old, 16-year-old, 15-year-old, 12-year-old, and 9-year-old from our previous marriages. Together we have a set of 1-year-old old twins. Though we have only been married for a short time, we met when we were teens. But, we both went our different way, and then married each other some 20 years later.

Saved by Grace and the Struggles of Life

I came to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as a teenager. He became my Lord and Savior during Vacation Bible School at a local church that a friend invited me too. I previously some times attended church with my grandmothers. However, I didn’t know much about having a relationship with God.

My mother, my sister, and I ended up joining a church in the community shortly after that. I became heavily involved in working in the church as an usher, choir member, praise dancer, announcement clerk, and adjutant. I even made the weekly church bulletins and did many other things. Any place I could find a void to fill in the ministry, I would avail myself. Even with all of my dedication to ministry service as a youth, I began to experience many different troubles. I drifted into different struggles that carried over into my early adulthood.

I married for the first time at the age of 20 and divorced seven years later. I am grateful to God that WE survived a toxic relationship riddled with domestic violence. Divorce can be a very traumatic thing, but I count mine as a blessing because it could have gone another way. The children survived, their father survived, as did I, because God’s hand of mercy and protection was upon us all.

Free Online Ministry Education Dream

Today, my husband and I are servant leaders in our local church. We have a passion for people. In December of 2018, I answered the call of God to leave the corporate world and dive deeper into ministry. I want to gain greater ministry training that is diverse and not just tailored explicitly to my denomination. I desired to further my education. During my prayer time about those things, I was lead to the Christian Leaders Institute. I am excited about embarking on this free online ministry education journey. Being equipped to be a more effective example of servant leadership in the Kingdom of God excites me.

The vision of CLI has an exceptional place in my heart. It provides an opportunity for people like me that could not occur due to an inability to pay for this quality education. I looked into several other options for education and ministry training but felt that I couldn’t advance in these because of the cost. This free online ministry education opportunity and the various study options are a Godsend to people like me. These courses are valuable resources that impact student’s lives and produce world changers.

Evangelism free training

Evangelism Free Training

My name is Edward Kiggundu, and I am receiving evangelism free training at CLI. I am a resident of Kampala, Uganda, East Africa. I was born on June 10, 1987, in Kampala. My wife’s name is Hanifer Kiggundu, and together God has blessed us with three birth children and one adopted daughter.

My father died when I was three years old. So, I ended up living in different families as I didn’t live with my mother most of my life. This separation harmed my life. At most of the places I lived, I was never accepted as part of the family.

I started going to church very early in my life. It was a Pentecostal church where my aunt attended. Soon, I joined the Sunday school and other free activities in ministry. At 12 years old, the call of God was evident in my life. However, I fell back into the world and sin took control of my life. I ended up on the streets smoking weed, doing drugs and alcohol, going to clubs with women.

But after a while, when I lost everything, God met me at my darkest moment. I came back to the Lord and soon the call took over my life again. I preached on the streets, roadsides, and also in the markets. Soon, I went to villages to organize GOSPEL crusades. I still do this today because evangelism is my passion.

Pastoring and Further Study at CLI

Today, I pastor a church called Emmanuel GOSPEL Christian Centre in Kampala. It is in the slums of Kitintale. It’s been two good years of pastoring a church as I write this on Feb 25, 2019. I give all glory and honor to God.

In 2018, I started at Christian Leaders Institute. It’s one of the greatest journeys of my life. I have grown as a leader through this evangelism free training. I hope to take on the degree program because, in my country, theological schools are very expensive. With the knowledge I get here, I hope to train and teach more church leaders in our land. I also hope to reach the unreached areas.

My dream is to share the gospel to as many as possible. I want to share the love of our heavenly Father with His children. Today, we have a school called Emmanuel Children’s Centre. There, we care for children and support them with their basic needs and education. The church I lead is very supportive of me and my ministry dream. They do what they can to share the love of God.

Thank you, CLI, for this opportunity to learn and increase my knowledge in the word and ministry. This sponsorship means a great deal for me because there is no way I could afford a college degree at this time.

Revival Ministry Dream

Revival Ministry Dream

My name is Cynthia G. Brown, and I have a revival ministry dream. My pen name is Carrie Hannah with Christian Faith Publishing. I live in the United States in Buena Vista, Virginia. Born and raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I came back to the Lord six years ago in December. I am a stage four cancer survivor. By the grace of our Lord, I walked off dialysis and am a survivor of domestic violence and drug and alcohol addiction.

My dream is to open Phoenix Grace House Ministries. I want to be a church planter and revivalist. I wish to be a Barnabas to the churches. My revival ministry dream is to help churches come into revival. Many churches in my community and the surrounding areas are dying out. I want to help churches find their gifts in the Holy Spirit to reach lost souls in my town.

Free Ministry Training

Christian Leaders Institute is giving me the tools. I want to bring a vision to my area. The tools I am learning are equipping me to find my strengths and my weaknesses. Every class, I learn more about leadership, following my Savior’s plan for my life, and how to improve my walk. My relationship with my Lord has grown from the teachings of the Christian Leaders Institute. I don’t have all the answers, and I still have a lot more to learn. My Lord has all the answers. Without these courses, I feel that I would lack the knowledge to lead. I am developing skills to greater serve the embodiment of Christ.

My revival ministry dream and call are to be a Church Planter. I want to carry on the ministry of my Lord in service to others. I want to watch others grow in their walk with the Lord, finding their gifts and encouraging those gifts. Because the Lord has called me, I pursue my revival ministry dream. I seek ministry by the example of my family. Among my family are ministers, missionaries, church planters, Gideon workers, Board Leaders, volunteers, military, songwriters, artists, singers, and teachers. My dad is a gifted teacher of the word.

I have felt the calling since childhood but took another direction in my life. When I came back to the Lord, the calling stirred in my heart and my soul. The challenges I face in my area are drugs, crime, one parent households, and lack of high paying jobs. Those that get in trouble can’t get a second chance. Most people of education leave our area, and the people are losing hope and vision.

Calling and Support

I have a great support system, and for that, I am blessed. The church I grew up in was born in a revival in 1920 and is still in revival fire today even through the difficult times in our community. The experiences I had growing up in the church will aid me in my ministry. My knowledge path began in this church. My new church, The Gathering Place, is a small church with beautiful followers of Christ. We are seeing the unchurched come to our doors. We pray daily one for another and support each other’s ministries. When one soul finds their way to the truth, the whole body rejoices.

I volunteer at the Nazarene Church that operates the Food Bank and Clothing Bank for our community. Sam, our leader, is a real hometown hero. She tirelessly shows us how to love our community. Food is given out. People are being fed both spiritually and physically. I feel blest to be a part of it. My family is devoted to our area for kingdom work. By their example, I learned to be a servant.

Having this revival ministry dream opportunity for free training at CLI allows me not to have a huge debt. So then, churches that can’t afford my services obtain them at no cost. I want to shine my light throughout the community.
