David’s Ministry Journey
My name is David Civile, and the following is David’s ministry journey. I came to Christ 30 years ago and have gone through many seasons, which transformed me tremendously. Every time I think I am getting there, then God points out areas in my life that need work. I remember when I was a teenager, how strangers would come up to me on the streets and ask me to pray for them. The last thing on my mind at that time was God or praying for someone else and certainly not in public. However, God had other plans, and years later, I accepted Christ.
For years, all went well, but then I derailed and used all kind of drugs even while serving as a minister. Thankfully, God pulled me out of it! The biggest lesson I learned is while I stood on the platform, the power of the Holy Spirit works, if not for you, then at least for the saints. I paid a high price for going off-road, but God’s love and grace saved me again and again.
The Principles I Live by Today
Ephesians 4:12-14 : for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
Isaiah 61: 1-3: The Good News of Salvation. The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
Mark 16:15-18: And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name, they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.
David’s Ministry Journey
When God called me, I knew I needed a deep and real relationship with Him. So reading the Bible, going to church, and regular prayer was not enough for me; then I need it all. I need to feel, hear, and taste Him and His grace, and He has shown himself above and beyond.
I have worked in ministry for 19 years with the criminals, mafia, youth, poor and needy, and problem families. Repeatedly, I saw rapid change and miracles. Laws have been changed and lives altered on divine intervention by God due to simple miracle-working prayers. It is by God’s grace I can work and minister in the fields.
My wife and I have three adult children. I work as a professional contractor next to ministry, and the income supports the missions. I am half Dutch and half Italian, and our focus is the Mediterranean and from time to time Belgium, Zambia, South Africa, and Pakistan. We are part of a Global Ministry call House of Legacy. It has its roots in South Africa. The head of the ministry lives in California. I am an ordained minister in the House.
David’s Ministry Journey Leads to Free Ministry Training at CLI
I am well-trained, mentored, guided, and advanced. However, from time to time, you have to recheck everything you know and see if there are little foxes in your garden as Proverbs states. Sometimes you have to go back to the basics and have a fresh view of all the things you think you know. For me, it is washing by the Word and also the free ministry training at CLI. It is essential for further equipping, growth, maturity, and more. I always want to learn more and more about God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son, and the Holy Spirit. To improve myself and grow in Christ is my hope as I study at Christian Leaders Institute.

My Evangelistic Spiritual Dream
My name is Bryan Mayne, and I have an evangelistic spiritual dream. I reside in a township in regional Queensland, Australia. In my childhood, I grew up in a household where my mother was a Christian, and my father was a staunch atheist and mason. I attended church many times with my mother when younger to try and understand a bit more about it. One time, I had a pastor tell me I was stupid for not believing in God. That statement turned me away from the Church and God.
God Opened My Eyes
So after 44 years as an atheist myself, I woke up one day to the realization that the world IS turning away from God. I couldn’t understand this and believe I have been blessed with the mission, by our Lord and Savior, to do as much as I can to bring people back to Christianity. Being an Atheist for so many years, I initially had trouble comprehending the Bible, but by accepting the Holy Spirit into my heart, it all became clear.
I have a disability, which I now see as a good thing because it gives me the time to study with Christian Leaders Institute. When I complete these studies, I will devote many hours to serving the Lord as I fulfill my evangelistic spiritual dream. My Christian wife of 27 years also strengthened my faith since my realization that God loves us all dearly. Everything happens for a reason.
Free Training at CLI for my Evangelistic Spiritual Dream
Where I live, we have many who are trying to destroy religious freedom. These people want to ban Biblical events and teachings from the education system and public celebrations. Also, many ministers conduct themselves like so many across the world. They think they have the right to change and interpret the scriptures in a socialistic way to win favor. God’s Word is the only true Word and is NOT to be changed or misconstrued by anyone.
I am non-denominational to be able to minister to all. My evangelistic spiritual dream is to travel my great country, reaching those who are blind toward the One True God. I want to share with them God’s salvation plan. I would also like to help those at the end of their life. Then they can leave this world with the Lord in their hearts.
By completing as many courses at CLI as possible, I will be more grounded and prepared to reach my evangelistic spiritual dream. I thank God for CLI being here to give me the training I need so I can help others. Prayer Ministry Call
Hello, my name is Arva Thompson, but my friends call me Lacey. I have a prison or prayer ministry call and live in the state of South Carolina in the United States. Becoming a student at Christian Leaders Institute has been such a blessing for me. The opportunity to pursue ministry training and eventually move on to have a degree in a field of ministry means the world to me.
Came to the Lord Young
I came to know the Lord when I was 13 years old. I remember it well like it was yesterday. At such a young age, I had what seemed like the weight of the world on my shoulders. A year prior, my grandmother had passed away. Looking back, I am not even sure if she had a relationship with the Lord. So many people were dying, and it saddened me deeply. However, I had no idea that one day, I could make a difference in the lives of the lost by ministering to them about my Lord, my Jesus, my Redeemer.
These classes are indeed training me to make an impact, and I could not be more excited. I am part of a revival much like that night that I was saved. I was in the church listening to the Word coming from the preacher’s mouth. The Holy Spirit filled that room, and everyone around me was worshiping and calling on the name of the Lord. I cried out and surrendered all of my problems, depression, and anger to this Jesus that could save anyone from their burdens. Immediately, I was baptized.
Wandering and Renewal In Christ
Sadly, I was not discipled and was left to figure it out in an unsaved home and wicked world ready to devour me. For many years, I continued to live a life of sin. The sin of the flesh was my biggest downfall. So, at the age of 18, I found myself a single mother, and at 19, a mother of 2!
I worked as a dancer to support my family. One night, shame filled me. At that moment, at 26, I decided that I would do my best to walk with the Lord. He would save me and could change my life IF I called out to Him. Many years went by with little change in my life. To get away from my environment, I went into the military, got married, and eventually had a child with my husband of 21 years. Every day is a struggle to do what is right, but I will not go back to where I was.
Ministry Training Journey at CLI
I will use the training that I am receiving at Christian Leaders Institute to work in a prison ministry and perhaps a prayer ministry in my church. God brought me to this site. For years I searched the terms “free training” and “free schools” then just recently CLI showed up in my search. I am so grateful for this ministry that will change millions of lives for the Kingdom of God. However, I know running this ministry comes at a cost, and I plan to help with that cost as the Lord leads me.
So many people are called, and when we are chosen, we need to have proper training. Therefore, that is where the Christian Leaders Institute can make a difference in our lives. I advise those coming after me to hunger for the Word and live for the Word. When God calls you into his ministry, prepare yourself through the training that you will receive at CLI. After taking these classes, my life will never be the same, and I am looking forward to where God will move me next as I patiently wait on His return.
