Bible Education Free at CLI
High-Quality Bible Education Free at CLI

My name is Roy Paul Koola, and I am receiving a Bible education free at CLI. I was born in 1964 to a Syrian Catholic family and brought up in that faith. My schooling started at Nirmala Convent School, Ayyanthol, Thrissur, Kerala, India. I went there until fourth grade. After that, we moved to the capital city, Thiruvananthapuram, where my father got a job transfer. I studied at St. Mary’s School in Pattom. While I was studying, I wished to become a Catholic priest. So, I completed the required form and sent it to the seminary. I waited for a reply, but I did not receive a call or any response.

Wanderings

Then I went to study at the Government Arts College. However, I was not interested in my studies, disobeyed my father, and did not submit to anybody. I went on my way through worldly lust and pleasures and lived a life without fear of God. Also, I became an atheist and lived in a communist way of thinking. I was defeated by failure but was stubborn and rebellious.

Then I got an opportunity to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at the age of 21. My marriage was made at the age of 24 by the parent’s suggestion and arrangement. However, I could not take my wife abroad after our wedding. Therefore, I quit the job and returned home to live in Cochin. At that time, my struggles began. I had neither money nor a job. By the time my wife was pregnant, I was thinking about how to live and go ahead. Everyone had forsaken me, and I was sad with a heavy burden. I lost my peace and hope.

Renewed Faith

It was then that I wanted to escape from the situation. Somehow I went to Potta Catholic charismatic Ashram for prayer and to meditate on the word of God. There, Father Panakal’s speeches inspired me, and God visited me by His kindness. With a broken heart, I made my first call upon God. I submitted myself a little before God and got some relief. Soon, I got a visit Visa to go to Dubai, U.A.E., where I got a job. Immediately, my family joined me.

There, we had an opportunity to go to the Pentecostal meeting (I.P.C.) There we found a good spiritual experience. I accepted Jesus as my Savior and Lord. At the age of 30, I received water baptism and dedicated and consecrated myself to God. I began to read the Word of God and studied the Bible through a correspondence course. Furthermore, I spent time listening to the Word of God and Bible commentary while driving the car.

Growing in God

To know God and a desire to be like my Master Jesus was my zeal. The Holy Spirit filled me. God taught me to understand the deeper truths and revealed His Word. Later, I started to send word to people through Facebook/Website. I am Jesus’ disciple, a partner of the gospel, and a witness for Jesus Christ.

God helped me to arrange a marriage for my daughter. The next year, I lost my job and returned to India with my family, and our son born there. We prayed to God to show us which church we should attend. God brought us to a New Testament Church with Pentecostal doctrines in 2000. God cared for us and met our spiritual and physical needs, gave us counsel, and led us in victory. By the grace of God, we are doing God’s work with joy.

Praise, glory, thanks be to the Holy God, who has done great things to me with all goodness, mercy, and kindness. Hallelujah! I have tasted that the Lord is good. Knowing God and getting closer to Him is the greatest thing we can do in this life. We cannot waste our lives and time since we have to lay hold of God’s kingdom in leading people to heaven! We are also waiting for the Lord’s return soon.

A New Beginning and Bible Education Free at CLI

Currently, we are in Dallas, Texas, in the U.S.A., at my daughter’s house. One day, I was searching for further Bible study. I found the Christian Leaders Institute in January 2020. However, I was not convinced since it is not of a Pentecostal or Baptist background and continued searching.

But, by the Holy Spirit’s guidance, I know I am to study a CLI. I also want to become an ordained minister with the Christian Leader Alliance. Now, I am convinced that it is a better place for my requirements. Furthermore, I understand that the professors are all Spirit-filled teachers anointed by the Holy Spirit. They are very generous people conducting all by the belief, “The just shall live by faith.” The Bible education free at CLI is a great blessing! I pray that God continues to bless CLI to equip believers to become Christ’s faithful disciples.

Online Ministry Learning

Online Ministry Learning for Free at CLI

My name is Althea Taylor- Schaneen, and I am receiving online ministry learning for free at CLI. I was born in Kingston, Jamaica. Currently, I reside with my family in New Jersey in the USA. I grew up in a Christian home. As a child growing up, the fear of the LORD was in my very soul.

My mother, Delores Hayden, now deceased, loved, and trusted GOD with every fiber of her being.
She was a single parent, an entrepreneur, who worked very hard to give us the best. Therefore, we attended both Sabbath (Saturday) and Sunday Church.

However, I became very rebellious as a teenager. Our father was not involved in our lives, and my older brother physically and verbally abused me. So, I was so broken.

God Saved Me

One Sunday night in 1995, I went to church for my younger brother’s baptism. I intended to mock him because of his life choice to serve God. But, at his baptism, I first encountered the LORD. The Holy Spirit ministered to my heart, and tears streamed down my face.

The pastor invited the unsaved in the congregation to come to Jesus Christ. Twice, I felt I should go to the altar. I stubbornly refused. However, the third time, I felt pulled from my seat. I automatically walked to the altar. There I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and received baptism. I felt at peace and renewed. On my way home that night, these words dropped in my heart and spirit, “Seek first, the kingdom of GOD and HIS righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Called to Serve God and Get Online Ministry Learning at CLI

During my walk with the Lord, I stumbled over the years due to different challenges. But GOD, through His Grace and Mercy, never let me go! He has been revealing Himself to me throughout my life experiences. “Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb, I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5

I love the Lord God and His Word. I desire to seek Him. Studying at Christian Leaders Institute will better equip me to serve God in His kingdom. There is an anointing on my life to share the Gospel. I am to be one of the learned through the training at CLI. “The Lord God has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to the weary: He wakeneth morning by morning, He wakeneth mine ear as the learned.” Isaiah 50:4

Call to Ministry and Ordination

My Call to Ministry and Ordination

My name is Edward H. Jones, and I am from Louisburg, North Carolina, in the United States. I have a call to ministry and ordination by God. I remember it as if it were yesterday the day God called me into ministry to preach His Word. Now, I am excited to receive a free ministry education at Christian Leaders Institute (CLI).

I grew up attending church. At an early age while at a program held at a local church, I found salvation in Christ. While praying one day in my room at home, something I did quite often, a still small voice spoke to me saying, “Go, and preach my word to the people.” My heart filled with joy and I answered God’s call. For a time while in my teens, I preached as well as singing in churches and local prayer meetings.

Wandering and Return to My Call to Ministry and Ordination

However, I began to seek out other things and follow after my own desires. It led me away from the fold and away from my calling. Despite all of this wandering, God watched over me and kept me safe and protected. At the same time, He was dealing with my heart. The Bible says to train a child up in the way he should go and though he might stray away he will return.

After years of running away from what God wanted me to do, the Lord finally got my attention. I rededicated my life to him. Then, I once again began feeling that tug at my heart from the Lord to enter into the ministry. After many a sleepless night and wrestling with myself, I said yes to God.

Ever since that day, the Lord has opened up doors for me. In October of 2019, I became the chaplain for the Franklin County Firefighters Association. This chaplaincy allows me to minister to my fellow firemen. God also opened doors for me to once again preach his word from the pulpit. Furthermore, I was ordained as a minister through the National Association of Christian Ministers. I thank God for this special calling he has placed upon me.

Education at CLI in Answer to My Call to Ministry and Ordination

I’ve always known that I have a purpose and that God had a plan for me. My Grandfather, a devout Christian man, died when I was only three years old. However, before he passed, he told my family that God showed him in a dream me preaching in the pulpit.

I thank God for all He has done for me and all that He is going to do. I’m also thankful for this amazing opportunity to get better educated at the Christian Leaders Institute. And also to be ordained with the Christian Leaders Alliance.
