Called to Minister

Called to Minister and Study at CLI

I am Jeff Fransen from Mill Creek, Washington in the USA. I am called to minister and am seeking education at the Christian Leaders Institute. My wife Michelle and I have been married for 30 years and have three beautiful children (Caitlin, Ryan, and Jace). I am a real-estate developer by profession. My wife and I are active in ministry through our local church. We also are involved in various missions organizations, including Mexico Family Missions, a ministry we founded in 2001.

My Faith Development

Born and raised in a Christian home, the testimony and example of my parents and others in the community in which I lived touched me. I learned about and experienced the love of Christ in my life and began to seek a relationship with Him. I committed my life to Him fully in a public profession of my faith when I was 16 years old.

Since that time, I have intimately experienced Christ’s love for me through my daily walk with Him. He has proven Himself faithful in many ways as I moved from my teenage years through college, career, marriage, and family. There have been many joys and blessings. However, there were also many challenges along the way that have tested me and my faith. All of these experiences have deepened my relationship with Christ. They have also enriched my understanding of who God is and what His purpose is for my life.

God’s Calling and Ministry Training at CLI

In my family life, in my community and my career, I have taken on many challenges and pursued significant dreams and aspirations. Through it all, I have sensed God call on my life to be a minister, whether with the title or not. My spiritual goal is to represent Christ well, to make myself available for the work of His Kingdom, and to serve others in whatever way God leads me to do.

I am grateful for the tools, the training of the Christian Leaders Institute.  The community of other “ministers” I can connect with through CLI is also a blessing.

Minister Study Opportunity

Minister Study Opportunity

My name is Nancy Weato, and I am thankful for the free minister study opportunity at CLI. I’m originally from West Africa, Liberia and migrated from Liberia to Ivory Coast in 1993. From Ivory Coast to America in 1996. I’ve lived in Dallas, Texas, for 24 years. I’m currently married with five living children by the grace of God.

God Protects Me

I remember going to Sunday school as a little girl and playing with crayons and singing, “Jesus Loves Me.” However, I didn’t know who Jesus was. In 1990, a civil war broke out in Liberia. Long story short, I could have died in the war or had my leg cut off. One day during the war, as everyone was running up and down the street for refuge, there was a girl on a man’s shoulders, and I was also on a family friend’s shoulders. We were ahead of them running, and they came running past us. About two to five minutes later, we saw the same family and others running back towards us. The girl’s leg was blown off by a bomb. That could have been me if they hadn’t passed us.

Saved by Grace

We migrated from Liberia to Ivory Coast in 1993 with my mom after my father went to America. There, I remember giving my life to Christ at the age of nine with one of my teachers. At the same time, my mom had devotions with my siblings and me every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

One day, I had a vision. Jesus pointed at his heart before me on the wall by the window at night. I jumped up and told my grandma. She explained to me the word of God and said that in the last days, children would dream dreams.

Some years later, when we came to America, my parents owned a convenience store. The Lord also saved my mother and me from a robber who came and robbed us at gunpoint. When finished, he went to the door of the store and pointed the gun at me for about 1-2 minutes before he ran out.

Called to Minister and the Minister Study Opportunity at CLI

When I think about all the things that the Lord has done and still does in my life, I get closer and closer to Him. He brought me this far for a reason. When I sit alone, He gives me titles to sermons. Most of the time, I see myself preaching to people at work. Most people say that I’m in the wrong career and that I need to be a preacher, and some call me pastor or mother Nancy because of what they see in me.

At this time, I currently sing in my church. The Holy Spirit pushes me forward to minister. I’m ready now to pick up my cross and follow Christ as He ministers to my heart to do right. I’m so glad that I can get that ministry study opportunity here at the Christian Leaders Institute. Thank you!

Further Ministry Training for free

Further Ministry Training for Free at Christian Leaders Institute

My name is Andoh Dandy Bary, and I am receiving further ministry training for free at CLI. I am a resident of Cameroon. Currently, I am finishing my studies at the medical school aspiring to become a Medical Doctor. Being a Christian leader here in Cameroon, precisely in Northwest Bamenda, is fascinating and quite challenging. However, I get to interact with many people through evangelism and above all the patients in the hospital. I attend to their health needs, but most importantly, I bring the gospel to them as well.

The Foundation of My Faith

I was born into a family where my mum was more spiritual than my dad. It was challenging because my dad always gave us restrictions not to go to church. However, that didn’t stop me from going to the house of the Lord. My spiritual life gained speed when I left for college, and by the way, it was a boarding kind of school system. So, I was on my own enclosed in the four corners of the school. I joined the Bible school teaching that they offered to us. Through that study, I gained more knowledge from the word of God. Later, I was promoted as a Sunday school teacher of the gospel.

When I left that school, I entered the university to study medicine. I discovered that the gospel and ministry walked together very closely. Therefore, I continued in the gospel way. In 2019, my church ordained me as a Deacon.

Further Ministry Training for Free at CLI

Now, I am here at the Christian Leaders Institute for further ministry training for free to gain more knowledge and experience. I also want to get a certificate of ordination as a pastor with the Christian Leaders Alliance. Choosing the free classes at Christian Leaders Institute was a plus to me. Since I am still a medical student, I could not afford to pay more tuition. Thank you, CLI, for this opportunity!
