“My Name is David. I live in Indonesia, considered one of the most populous country in the World. In my opinion, Christianity is growing significantly in my country as many young people getting to serve Lord faithfully. Many people are turning to God, and I feel the Holy Spirit is working here. But still there is too many people still do not know Jesus. So I am being called by God to share the Good News to all places in Indonesia. Therefore, I need to equip myself with proper training, which I could find on this website. Currently I serve in local Church as a Mandarin Service Coordinator and a Bible Study Leader. My dream is that I can preach the Gospel throughout Indonesia.”
David Chan Sjachril Receives a Scholarship

David Chan Sjachril was called by God 4 years ago. His calling comes at a time when Christianity is spreading in Indonesia, and David Chan Sjachril is called to be a part of this great movement. However, David Chan Sjachril is unable to afford traditional seminary training to prepare him for God’s work. This is why David Chan Sjachril has come to Christian Leaders Institute. He sees that he will have the opportunity to receive the training and encouragement he needs to continue the great commission and preach the gospel in all the earth.
