These leaders inspire and empower others to become agents of God’s redemption and transformation, understanding how their walk with God and calling in ministry connect. By doing so, they spread their influence far beyond their immediate surroundings.

Visionaries of Change

Leaders in the Ministry Sciences movement are more than ministers, preachers or teachers; they are visionaries. They see the potential in everyone to act as a conduit of God’s grace. Their mission is to help people grow spiritually and engage practically with life’s challenges, blending biblical teachings with contemporary issues.

The Organic Methodology

The Ministry Sciences movement uses a ministry approach that combines biblical and theological education with practical training. This method is inspired by the parable of the sower in the Bible:

“A farmer went out to sow his seed. Some fell along the path, and the birds ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, but the soil was shallow. When the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown” (Matthew 13:3-8, WEB).

This parable shows that the core of our methodology is organic. Leaders, like the farmer, sow seeds of God’s Word, and when people hear and accept it, their lives are transformed.

The Christian Leaders Institute has identified several key areas to focus on which are detailed in the free Christian Leaders Connection course:

1. Personal Connection: This involves transforming oneself through prayer, Bible reading, and daily communion with the Lord. It’s about reproducing this personal connection in others, helping them understand how to share their faith.
2. Marital Connection: For married individuals, their walk with God is closely linked to their spouse. Couples pray and read the Bible together, centering their relationship in Christ.
3. Family Connection: Parents share the Word of God and pray with their children, impacting their faith journey.
4. Small Group Connection: Small groups support each other in deepening their relationship with God and studying His Word.
5. Church and Worship Connection: Attending church and listening to sermons helps Christians effectively share their faith.
6. Kingdom Connection: This connects local Christians, groups, and churches with believers worldwide, emphasizing the importance of global Christian relationships.
7. Evangelistic Connection: This is about spreading the gospel to the non-Christian world, unifying all previous connections in one mission.

Roles in Ministry Sciences

Here are some roles within the Ministry Sciences movement:

• Officiants: Handle significant life events like performing weddings with grace and depth, drawing people closer to God. There are several officiant roles with free ministry training offered in each one.
