Get Ordained in Colorado – A Testimony

My name is Sandy Clark, and I live in Colorado, USA. As I was growing up, my parents taught me about Jesus, and at the age of 14, I accepted Him as my LORD and Savior. Since then, Jesus has been my best friend, always by my side. During high school, I spent much of my time reading the Bible and taking notes from sermons by Christian radio pastors. After high school, I taught preschoolers in a Sunday school class and found great joy in it. However, I made many bad choices and my life became a mess. I married the wrong man and went through a divorce. Thankfully, I found my current husband, who is amazing, and we have a blessed and wonderful marriage.

My Spiritual Experiences

Throughout my childhood and twenties, I went through many traumatic experiences that led me to cry out to Father God for comfort. He has always been there for me, providing solace and strength.

My Family

I have three children and five grandchildren. Two of our children are still in high school and are being homeschooled. My husband and I have a small family ministry called “Deeper into His Love Ministries,” and he also has a full-time job. We have received training in street evangelism and miraculous healing, and we have witnessed Jesus healing people before our eyes. We are saving up to put our children through college. Although I have regretted not obtaining a degree myself, I want to learn more about being a chaplain, which led me to search for free training and discover CLI. Taking college courses for free and on my own schedule is the perfect opportunity for me.

My Confidence and Competence

I have held my ministry license for four or five years, but it is mainly a formality. While I had to prove my involvement in ministry and provide a letter of recommendation, there was no required training. CLI can provide me with the necessary training to delve further into ministry. Being able to study without going into debt and fitting it into my busy schedule is exactly what I need to accomplish this goal. I am extremely grateful for CLI and CLA and all those involved in making this program a reality.

Our Ministry

My family and I have engaged in street ministry in the past, but it has been a while. In 2021, we traveled to Costa Rica to serve the people there in various ways. I taught a group of nearly all women about their identity in Christ, drawing closer to God in prayer, prophetic prayer over their city and country, and worship dancing with flags. Before the trip, I taught young children and teenagers about their identity in Christ and the Tabernacle of Moses. Our goal is to teach children, teens, and young adults about their purpose and the guidance of God in their lives. We want them to know that they are deeply loved, wanted, and important.

Ordination

I believe that I am called to be a pastor/chaplain during the harvest, and I believe that CLI and CLA have been led by the Holy Spirit to help me gain the necessary training and confidence to step out more. Some churches require licensing or degrees, and I want to be prepared for larger-scale street ministry or ministering within an organization. I also desire the freedom to teach workshops in churches. As I progress through these programs, I am filled with excitement and anticipation. Learning at my age gives me the same excitement as children have before going somewhere fun! I am looking forward to what God has in store for me.
