God’s Love Motivates Us To Do His Will
Hello, my name is Rowena Andino. I grew up in the Philippines. In 2004, I migrated to Canada. Married to a God-fearing man, we have two beautiful kids: Hannah and Elijah. My Journey
First off, I would like to thank God for everything he has done in my life. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Education from one of the universities in the Philippines and got a decent job.
Both of my parents died when I was young. So I grew up under the care of my aunt, a devout Catholic. We went to church every Sunday because we had to. I never understood as a child why we had to go to Sunday mass and sit inside and listen.
How I came to know Jesus Christ was a very emotional and memorable day in my life. A friend who was already a believer in Christ shared her faith and testimony with me. I clearly remember what she said to me about the love of Christ in her life: “God’s amazing love is all that we need.” Then, she invited me to join their Bible study on Saturdays and encouraged me to attend their Sunday service. I felt welcomed and experienced joy in being around very accepting people. My transition was never easy. I struggled a lot.
It was Sunday morning when it became clear to me that Jesus was all that I needed in my life. I declared my nothingness to the Lord and that I am a sinner. I opened my heart to trust Him, believe in Him, and accept Him as my Lord and Saviour in my life. At that moment, I felt the amazing grace, love, and forgiveness of the Lord. I believe God loves me and accepts me no matter what.
My Spiritual Dream
My spiritual dream is to serve the Lord with all my heart. After I surrendered my life to Jesus, everything changed. I focus more time on knowing the Lord and His Word. God put in my heart compassion for others so that I should care about others’ interests before my own. The Lord helps me recognize and respond to the needs of others willingly, cheerfully, and with humility of heart.
God gave me joy in my heart to join in the ministry of music. My relationship with the Lord has become very close and intimate. As I continue to serve the Lord, He has given me the ability to become an intercessor to pray for spiritual victories over the challenges and obstacles in the life of others.
The Lord has also placed the desire to become a shepherd in my heart. Currently, the Lord has entrusted me with a group of people to take care of and nurture with the Word of God. We have our Bible study every Wednesday.

I’m Graham Jantz, and I live in Alberta, Canada. I have a BA from the University of Lethbridge in Music with a Religious Studies Minor. Currently, I am taking Bible courses online free at the Christian Leaders Institute (Learn more about online free Bible courses, Click Here).
My Spiritual Journey
I grew up an atheist and became a Christian in 2019. The Lord started revealing Himself to me through Christian apologetics, particularly by C.S. Lewis. I began going to a local church and was baptized six months later by a good friend of mine. God became real to me when I realized that I couldn’t bear the weight of the meaning of life.
I used to think the meaning of life was happiness. It crushed me when I came up against struggles. Then, I experienced a couple of panic attacks following a hard time in my life while simultaneously exploring Christianity. I was unable to hold the weight and expectation I had put on myself. At that time, I began going to church. I accepted Christ as my savior in an outdoor bathroom at the golf course where I worked. I got down on my knees and prayed. After I repented of my sins, I claimed Christ as my Lord.
Finding CLI
Unfortunately, the pandemic challenged my faith. I stopped attending church and isolated myself from my friends. However, the Lord has again been wooing me to Himself through online content, both apologetics and general sermons from some wise preachers. God led me to look for free online Bible courses. I found the Christian Leaders Institute. The training at Christian Leaders Institute will help me grow closer to the Lord. It will also help me develop skills to lead those around me in their walk with Him. I deeply value that Christian Leaders Insitute is free. I have just finished my BA and would like to avoid incurring more student debt from further study.

My Ministry Dreams
My name is Tiffany Romero, from the USA. I am taking Christian counselor ministry training at the Christian Leaders Institute (Learn more about online free Bible courses, Click Here). I just completed the class on leadership, which is advancing my calling due to the knowledge and wisdom taught.
My Journey
In the past, I was what you would call “a follower.” I would try to follow the latest fads and trends, the newest music, and the latest foods. I wanted not to be this small town, country girl with Cajun traditions. I tried to seem cultural and like I had great taste. So, I left home and traveled to many different places in the USA. However, I always returned to my roots and Louisiana, which genuinely felt like home. I searched for my place in this world when it was right there in my backyard in my home state.
Now, I have learned to embrace my beautiful traditions, the culture, the Cajun French language, the food, and the laid-back lifestyle. I know that what I was longing for was happiness. No place or changing myself was going to do that. Only when I surrendered my life to Jesus did I feel that pure and free happiness I’ve longed and searched for. I have joy now that cannot be contained, and I love sharing my testimony with others.
My Calling
This class reminds me that leadership is an important quality in ministry. There will be people that are watching your life and learning from you. They will see the blessings over your life and the joy on your face. It’s important to know leadership qualities to help advance your vision. Once your vision is set, you can set steps in motion to achieve it.
My calling is to be in deliverance and healing ministry. I know God has called me to heal the sick and broken and deliver them through the power of the Holy Spirit. Since I was a young child, whenever I hurt myself or anyone I knew hurt themselves, I instinctively laid my hands on them and asked Jesus to heal them. Little did I know what the Bible says of laying on of hands. So I learned as a kid that we can be vessels of healing from Jesus.
As I got older, God gave me a keen discernment of evil and bad spirits. I would have strangers look at me with hate and growl at me. Instinctively, I would start praying in Jesus’ name to cast these spirits out. All would be calm after. Then I began having dreams where Jesus is showing me healing people through his power in supermarkets, in conferences, etc., as well as doing deliverance in dreams. Then, I linked with a ministry where the Apostle noticed the same gifts in me.
Ministry
Currently, I am on staff with Emergence University in ministry, where I also attend. It is a 2-year prophetic school, which I am about to be ordained in June 2022. I am a Care Pastor with the school and part of Women in Ministry. I also help the Apostle with social media and videos.
The challenge I currently face in ministry is a lack of mentorship close to where I live. The ministry I am with is four hours away, so it’s more online. In addition, I am new to the area I live, so I am not knowledgeable about local ministries or churches. I want to find more volunteer opportunities that may lead to a ministry position.
Christian Counselor Ministry Training
One good insight from the CLI leadership class is how others in leadership started. I also learned what methods worked best for them and their mistakes along the way. It’s also essential to set a vision, how to get that vision, and how to make a successful team to further that vision. This knowledge will help me advance my ministry.
My ministry dreams for the future are to be part of a local ministry or church that takes part in street ministry, homeless ministry, and women’s ministry. I want to get my MBA after I get my degree here at CLI and continue as a Christian counselor and minister of the Word.
