“There is so much that I learned in this class that I don't even know where to begin.  I think what I learned the most is that you cannot just read the Bible and think you understand all the references and parables until you understand the culture, the land, and the meaning behind everything.  The study on Egypt was very enlightening and the desert study as well.  I had always sung the song "The wise man built his house upon the rock..." as a child, but now I understand how the rains and the floods happen in the desert and how it could wash away a house.  It is little things like that which have enriched my understanding of Scripture beyond what I can write here.  It will help me when I am teaching others.”
