When the Christian Leaders Institute began online in 2006, the goal was to launch an online Bible school that took the Bible seriously in launching volunteer, part-time or full-time Christian leaders.
What is a Bible school anyway? A Bible School is a place of learning that centers their curriculum around the Word of God. We celebrated God's revelation in creation, but we need the glasses of the Bible to see how God created and redeemed a fallen world.
The CLI's Leadership Excellence School and Institute board of trustees believe the Bible is the WORD of God. The Apostle Paul put it this way:
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.

The Bible’s Role – Your Connection to Home
African Theologian Augustine of Hippo said, “The Holy Scriptures are our letters from home.”
The Bible connects us to God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
