Victorious Walk

The Victorious Walk 2009 encourages a home to be victorious in actually getting together for spiritual encouragement. This plan encourages homes to set aside at least 15 minutes a day for intentional practices of home discipleship. Christian Leaders Institute has made available downloads for your family and/or church to support the victorious walk.

Victorious Walk Practices

Bible Reading (five minutes): We encourage reading one chapter a day of the Victorious Walk Bible Reading Plan. If you have a family, try to get the family together for this reading.  Many families get together for dinner and do their reading during or after dinner. After the Bible reading, use the Victorious Walk Crossword Puzzle to review what was read. If you have young children, set aside some time to color the weekly Victorious Walk Coloring Pages focusing on the stories of Genesis.

Bible Memory (five minutes): Bible memory is becoming a lost practice for believers and their families. The Victorious Walk 2009 Memory Challenge encourages your family in the Psalm Challenge. (See Tips for Bible Memorization)

Worship and Prayer (five minutes):  Singing and praying are very important practices of communing with God. Many churches have a song or hymn of the month. All homes are encouraged to end their time of Bible reading and memorization in prayer.
