Our faculty members combine keen intellect with enthusiastic experience in outreach and ministry. We strongly believe in making disciples of all nations. All CLI professors have advanced degrees, almost all have planted a church, and most have international or intercultural mission experience. CLI professors believe that Bible-based home-discipleship builds spiritual strength and intergenerational Christianity.
Christian Leaders Institute Faculty | Ken Dignan
Ken Dignan is an ordained minister and began his ministry education at North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Pastoral Theology; he then attended Seminary at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri where he received a Masters Degree for Biblical Studies and Christian Counseling; and then went on to study through Carolina University of Theology of Manassas, Virginia, where in 1999 he received a Doctor of Theology degree. He has been involved in full time vocational ministry since 1976. He has served at Maranatha Chapel in Evergreen Park, IL; then assisted the planting of New Life Church in Orland Park, IL; from there he went to First Assembly of God in Jerseyville, IL (outside St. Louis, MO); he became the Senior Pastor of Living Water Community Church in Bolingbrook, IL; in 1991 he founded ‚Until Healing Comes Ministries and spoke in over 100 churches through 1994; then he became the Sr. Assistant Pastor at The Stone Church in Palos Heights, IL; and in 1998 he joined the pastoral staff of Eagle Rock Community Church of Homer Glen, IL, where he has served as the pastor of teaching and preaching, small groups, men’s ministry and director of congregational life, the Senior Pastor, and currently serves as the Support Pastor.
He is married to Joni, the father of 4 sons: Andrew, Patrick, the late Ryan, and Britt Stephen. The grandfather of Riley Ann.
