Ministry Training Programs For The English Speaking World

1. Ministry Training Classes (Click here to view course descriptions) Perfect for you if you need some additional ministry training. Take one or more classes in your area of interest. We offer many classes that start immediately from the certificate program. We also offer classes that are offered each semester.

2. Discipleship Certificate (9-10 hours) Take any three classes and receive this certificate. Perfect for you if just want a quick-start goal or you just need a few Christian Leaders Institute classes. We offer many classes that start immediately from the certificate program. We also offer classes that are offered each semester. We ask that you make a donation of any amount you can for the semester you attend.

3. Ministry Training Certificate or Ministry Associate Cerificate (24 credit hours) This Ministry Training Certificate gives you all the essentials you will need for leading a in your church. This diploma may be the next step for you after you have planted a church and now you need more. Maybe you want to get this diploma first before you plant a church or lead in a local church. For those in the Christian Reformed Church, we have called this the Ministry Associate Certificate because you will have the essentials you need for being ordained as a Ministry Associate. Calvin Seminary will administer a test to CLI students who complete this certificate. (Ready in 2012) Getting Started in Ministry Training: An Introduction to Christian Leaders Institute: A Reproducible Walk: 3 credits Church History: 4 credits: Preaching Methods: 3 credits Pastoral Care and Marriage: 3 credits Biblical Exegesis 3 credits Systematic Theology I and II: 8 credits Church and Ministry: 3 credits

4.Ministry Training Discipleship Diploma (30 credit hours) Choose classes of your interest and choice and receive this diploma. This diploma is perfect for the Christian leader who wants to have a goal for continued studies. Many pastors may find this diploma very attractive.

5.Ministry Training Diploma (46 Credit Hours) The Diploma of Ministry Training is an advanced ministry training diploma if you want comprehensive ministry training. This diploma will give you the basics in what you need to be a pastor, evangelist, ministry associate, church planting, church planter, Chaplain, or other Christian leader. Many churches and denominations require this kind of a diploma for ordination.

6. Advanced Ministry Training (65 credit hours) This Advanced Diploma of Ministry gives you knowledge and insight comparable to many seminaries. Your in depth knowledge of the various area of study will serve you well in your ministry calling.
